His stats deserve to go up. Definately the most consistent Benfica centre-back this season. Whenever he played, he was the best back there.

He has surely become better but let's face it.. Carriço is better in pretty much everything except mentality and balance and even though he's just slightly better I think it is pretty well shown in the stats..

Why is carriço a lot better in response and defence? When response is surely the best asset of MIguel Vitor who rarely misses an interception, i agree that defence pnly one up, but response lower carriço if you dont whant to up MV but the gap is ridicullous.

IMO his strong point his speed 8-) HIs response is 76 because he sometimes does stupid fouls. At the most I would give him 77. My suggestions would be:

Top speed: 79/80
Acc: 80
Concistence: 6
Doing a lot of stuff int the Portuguese League -transfers, updating players, updating squads,...

Agreed, he gets sent off a lot because of his late tackles.. I wouldn't boost it anymore he is quite bad in this aspect.
But you are right about speed and consistency, updated.

Daniel Carriço is extremely good in his positioning for his age.. while Miguel Vítor's good point isn't really positioning.. he's much more of a fighter than Carriço and Carriço is much better positionally..
And keep such comments for yourself or you'll hardly get another reply..
Ask TDM.. he's a Benfica fan but you'll probably get the same awnser.

Sorry mate but I have to agree with RB7. He already still commits mistakes while Carriço doesn't. Carriço already is a first choice (poor Tonel. ) BTW don´t forget carriço is 1 year older than miguel vitor and Sidnei ;)

This thread is about Miguel Vítor, not Daniel Carriço.

[Irony]I know, I know, he's 100x better than Cannavaro and Nesta put together at their peak[/Irony], but let the issue be discussed in his own thread ok?

He's still getting the hang of the tackling timing. Had a few nasty ones that could've cost a couple of points here and there, but overall I stand firm on what I said back in March: the most consistent Benfica centre-back this season.

BTW: he got sent off ONCE in the entire league season! How can't he play two games in a row because of being sent off? Check your numbers please.

The kid is growing in a tremendous pace. His quality just isn't deniable anymore... Mark my words: he'll be the captain in a few, few years.

Nice clincher last night against Olhanense! A diving header worthy of a JVP vs. Seaman classic

Short Pass Speed: 63
Needs to be fixed ;)
Alf Ramsey: "I'll be watching you for the first 45 minutes and if you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime."
Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

I think he doesn´t deserve to be 3 points far from Carriço at Defence and 5 points in Response. Is their diference that much?

I totally agree in raising his response to 79/80 .

He's good and agressive to responde to dribles and passes despite sometimes he's a little out of time but still deserves a raise .
