With this speed and strenght no one will pass through him... r u shure he was this fast and strong? i kind off can believe he was this fast but i can't believe a guy who was only 73 kg deserves BB 90+.

All i know from him is that he liked to dribble in defense wich made him loose the ball sometimes (*tactical dribble?), he didn't commit much fouls though he's famous for being sent off against Netherlands, he retired at 47 ((playing in the 3rd division) and he's the top scorer defender for Palmeiras

btw, what does "segata" mean in spanish? If it's a tackle, then he was also famed for well timed tackles.

it's "segada" and yes, it's a tackle, when the defender throws himself to the floor

This one's pretty hard

I have to agree with you as_10, he was one of my earlier posts and I didn't get the balance quite right. ;)

Balance 90>85

Gotcha! :D

I have overated his heading clearly, he was a world class defender who was a star with Atletico Madrid but I've overcompensated. As earlier , Luis Pereira was one of my earlier posts, I would have his heading more in the 86 range with jumping not too far off as he was at least athletic from the vids I've seen and from what I've read.

D-Line, I added as in the 1974 World Cup he was excellent organising the defence which was actually quite tight until the Holland Game.

He was 1.81cm, I think: http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lu%C3%ADs_Edmundo_Pereira
Since information from Wikipedia is not so reliable, I was searching for photos and I compared his stature to the Leão one (1.82cm). Pereira was slightly shorter.
Luis Pereira was a classical defender, so I believe his response could go up to 88 (two points lower than Orlando Peçanha).
I agree with the previous body balance stat of 90. Despite he was not that tall, his build was fabulous; he could bear collisions and hardly fell with tackles. Aldair has a 91 BB (what is an absurdity) and Pereira was much stronger than him.

The era or the club is wrong, as Luis Pereira played for Palmeiras that season.
