Updated to fit new format.

***

Changes...

Raised Condition from 6 to 7 due to the number of games played in 1994-1997 period:

http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelo_Peruzzi#Statistiche

Changed Height and Weight from 181 cm and 88 kg to 180 cm and 89 kg (according to texts in Additional Links).

***

Does anybody else thinks he needs higher Aggression (55>58-59) and a 2-3 point higher Response?

Also should his Curling and SA be slightly better?

I was reading an article about the most expensive keeper transfers and it mentioned Peruzzi and it made curious to watch some footage. He had impressive balance and his affinity for catching the ball reminded me of Peter Schmeichel.
Comparing him to another italian keeper of the 90's, Gianluca Pagliuca, I'd say that bar strength, Pagliuca was the more physically gifted of the two, with better speed, acceleration and jumping (he was able to reach the far corners with ease), contrary to how they are rated here.
Really I would swap their stats in those areas and then I would increase Peruzzi's Balance by 2-3 points and his Keeper Skills to 95.

Return to “90's”
