I think that my stats for him are totally rubbish

New suggestions:

TS: 75
ACC: 74
RES: 76
AGI: 75
DA: 74
DS: 70
SPA: 72
SPS: 71
LPA: 75
LPS: 77
TEC: 74
AGG: 65
Injury tolerance: B

Rest should be ok.

 then why don't you edit them. I'd prefer the most accurate stats you can give us :D

My suggestions:

BB: 81 <-- Not superstrong but he certainly ain't weak either for a defender.
TS: 76
ACC: 77

He has a great long pass. So I think LPA and LPS can go up to the low 80's. And IMO he deserves the Pinpoint Pass card

Do you think these stats are still accurate? He's one of the better defenders in the Eredivisie in my opinion, he's always cool on the ball and an excellent marker too. I know the only reason for this comparision is his nationality, but he'd definitely the next Samii Hyppia. :P

I Disagree with you on this, Niklas is a decent defender but i wouldn't say he's one of the best. I think that these stats reflects him very well, maybe a little raise in DEF and RESP but that would be it.

He's a good defender, perhaps a tiny bit better than these stats suggest but he's nowhere close to Hyypia. Lacks the intelligence, finesse and over-all physical power to even make it in the Premier League.

I do think he's better on the ball than this. He has quite a good left foot and he's rather good in the technical department. He just lacks the strength, positioning and communication skills to be a top-class central defender though.

Plays mostly as a RCB, sometimes LCB.

Updated his set. He was really underrated. I gave him the man-marker card and relatively low defence because I think his marking is good but his general defensive intelligence (when to tackle/where to stand/pure defending) isnt that good. He is a ball playing defender and he is quite good at it.

I feel he deserved an little overhaul aswell. Better with both feet. Competent with the ball and a good team player. Isnt the best defender but has a good sliding tackle.

Good team move (kinda lucky shot) before the goal yesterday. Also showed his two-footed-ness with the pass-dribble-shot.

He's Dribble stats really look harsh. I suggest a raise.

I tend to agree. And however Niklas is a "passing" defender he has a the capability of giving to short balls. Maybe his SPS should be a bit lower.

I agree with you both.
He has played as left-back in club and national team, I think it's enough to give him that position as secondary one, agree?

He reads the game well and manages to compensate his slightly weak physique with this, accompanied by accurate tackling. Good on the ball as well, I remember one of his efforts back in 2009 when he played left fullback against Russia. He dribbled past several players and had a shot off target.

There were rumours that Fulham have been after him. He wanted to move to PSV already in the summer but AZ rejected their offer.
