Are you guys sure he deserves D-line? imo he makes alot of petty mistakes especially in his positioning
I'm against you

TBH their defense has a lot of whole in them at times, and I really don't know who is to blame. Buy Frey usually saves their asses. I think he is the leader on the Def line, so he deserves the star. I think your arguement is better suited for lowering his DEF value.

Just some thoughts:
Defence: 82(I feel he uses his body more, and less about his good positioning)
Top Speed: 75(swap with ACCL..his long legs help him over distance. beat Floccari to the ball a few times)
Acceleration: 73(swap w/ TS)
Short Pass Accuracy: 72
Short Pass Speed: 66
I might want to swap these...or something more along the lines of that

His long passes were far better than Gamberini's one. He was also the FK taker from the "defence area".

i think we should do the following:
updating his Long Passing keeping an eye on Gamberini's one(should be a little poorer)
update his Fka giving him a couple of points (him andgamberini are in par on 71)
lower his aggression or update gamberini's one because they're on par on 66

edit #1(aggression):
after seeing CB's agg ladders,Gamberini TOP LIMIT value could be 67 with paci and rinaudo,
cause @68 with domizzi, chivu and biava would be imo too high.
so:
pairing dainelli with Materazzi or Santacroce @66 is imo too high,
i see him @64 with paolo cannavaro or @65 with siviglia and lerottaglie.

93: Marco MATERAZZI (193, 92)
92: Nicolae Dorin GOIAN (194, 83), Oguchi ONYEWU (193, 91), Dario DAINELLI (191, 87), Júlio BAPTISTA (187, 81), Giorgio CHIELLINI (186, 76)
91: Gianvito PLASMATI (194, 86), Moris CARROZZIERI (192, 90), LUCIO (188, 84)
90: Christian TERLIZZI (190, 85)
89: Per KRØLDRUP (194, 91), Patrick VIEIRA (192, 82), Cesare NATALI (191, 87), Leandro RINAUDO (191, 78), Guglielmo STENDARDO (190, 89), AMAURI (186, 83), Ezequiel CARBONI (179, 79)

I don't really think that the current BB value depicts him well.
Counting his large frame,Dainelli isnt a defender who comes out with brutal strength.
Also i don't think he could be comparable to Goian or Onyewu.

Imo the strongest fiorentina defender is kroldrup...when a team against fiorentina played with a big, muscular CF,like inter with ibrahimovic last years, kroldrup always was a starter and the man assigned to the marking of that CF.

I think that Dainelli BB should be like 90,and Kroldup too, giving the second the advantage of his bunch of cms and kgs more.

tonight for example, didnt actually DOMINATED amauri, and with current stats
(191,87,92 vs 186,83,88) he would.

I'd agree to a slight decrease

Bump for the BB decrease?
Counting also that Serie A forums are not a lot populated, fiorentina's threads are basically dead. :(

Whoa Whoa Whoa ......WHAT!?!? What the hell is going on?!

I heard rumors first that Natali was going to be thrown in a Ledesma deal. Then I heard that Koldrop was going to Greece and the Natali exidus was unlikely now. Now out of NO WHERE....the Captain Dainelli is GONE!?! I'm in denial...why would they do this?

Plus its odd for Genoa to have a CB that doesn't surge forward on an occassion.

exactly  . he's what they desperately need, a CB that does what he's supposed to. one wonders why they got rid of Ferrari in the first place. Interesting acquisition. I thought they were going Barzagli initially.
