IMO he was an agility freak, surely this should be in the low 90's?

His shooting could be quite erratic, he could score with an overhead kick one day only to miss a 100% chance the next. SA 77 and ST 89?

I agree with the last suggestions. Agility at least at 90, based on the ladders, and for shot technique i would give even an extra point to choccy's suggestion, as his only problem for not scoring more was the accuracy, ST was top level.

Imo he seemed to be faster on/off the ball so I'd raise TS,ACC and DS.

Any opinions?

That's because he was indestructible. Nothing could injure him. He's so injury tolerant that players on an A are just pathetic in comparison. 8-)
Haha, I'm joking obviously :P I guess a B is the obvious Injury Tolerance to give him. He didn't actualy play many games although I'm not sure if that was due to Injury or not :?

Hi
Thanks for the stats,
I would add him 2 points in jump, i think 90 is more appropriate considering his goals against Barcelona. and maybe put down to 74 his balance, he used to spent a lot time in the floor.

Best Faustino Asprilla video:

I'm not familiar with his time at Parma, but as a set for his Newcastle days, it's okay. You get the basic outline of the type of player Tino was - technically gifted, with excellent physical qualities - but naturally, the new standards have passed this set by so it's not up to par compared to more recent classic sets. I won't list all those changes in my own notes since it would take a while and I'd end up rambling on and on and on and... You get the point. All in all, though, I like to think I've got a good idea of the type of player Tino was, and if my own notes are anything to go by, it would represent a pretty drastic change in the set, overall.

His TS is 83, big deal. Arguing for 79 is whiny.

Considering what I've seen of him, I think the Konami set is pretty accurate for his Newcastle days, but I haven't seen him in Parma.

Only would make minor tweaks in Konami set. +1/+2 some stats and -1/-2 other stats.

That set's underrating Tino in just about every area. It'll take a fair bit more than 1 or 2 point changes to fix that set, too.

This set was intended more as a base of rough values from his first season to build upon, and I did mention that in my stat thread. In retrospect though, DA's too high even considering his performances during his first season at Newcastle. I'm tempted to have him on an orange value since he was so audacious and capable of moments of real genius, but imo his close control wasn't quite as refined as this value would have you believe.

He should probably sit on an 88 or so, give or take a point.
