A few changes might need to be made. I believe he is now playing more of a WF role. In the match I saw the commentators mentioned that he has the best passing and shooting rate in the BuLi this season. They said he is improving with every min he is playing.

Stats that seem a bit high:
Attack: 83
Shot Accuracy: 82
Shot Power: 84
Shot Technique: 83

Stats that seem a bit low:
Defence: 44
Stamina: 81
Short Pass Accuracy: 74
Short Pass Speed: 73
Long Pass Acc.: 71
Long Pass Speed: 71
Team Work: 74

Penalties*(he is 2 for 4 this season...not sure he needs it. Plus it looks like he wasn't the main PK taker at PSV before his transfer.)

I would agree with a decrease of his ATT but not his shooting stats, he really is a good shooter of the ball. Hits the target really often with power. He got a pretty good goalrecord in the Eredivisie without having the positioning, scoring or 1-1 scoring stars.

Maybe his stamina, passing and TW could be raised a bit.

for the moment i suggest:

Main position: SS

ATK: 81
DA: 84 (on pair with Claudio Pizarro)
DS: 85 (1 point more than Claudio Pizarro)
SA: 80 (fails a lot, the same than Bojan?)

certainly he was the best player of the PSV, but he has failed to adapt to the German style

P.D: my english is really poor, and the Google Translator doesn't help

I agree with you, except his main position. He plays as WF for Schalke.

I'm going to update him now.

EDIT: I'm also for a drastical drop of his FK abilities.

SPA: 77~78
SPS: 76~77
LPA: 77
LPS: 76~78

his FK needs to go down... but i'm not sure what number can suits him

FK: 80~82? (same Dani Álves)
CUR: 80~81?

and about his Weight... is he really heavy?

I don't remember one good FK from him since he joined Schalke...

If we increase his Passing I'm afraid he's too overrated and too much of a total package.

Though his Long Passes a re way better than 71 :S

I'm confused by his weight. Schalke's homepage says he weighs 85 kilos but weltfussball.de says he only weighs 72 kilos :? and in my notes I gave him only 76 Balance.

The problem is I'm missing a lot values for him so I can't really give you 100% knowledge.

Thats the wrong weight value

He's 174cm and 73kg or 11 stone 5 pounds... he just looks chunky, sorta in a similar build to Rooney.

I agree with Paddy. On a other site, he is 1,78cm and 73kg. http://www.footballsquads.co.uk/ger/200 ... chalke.htm . I think that is right. Look here: http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/84495072/Bongarts .

177 cm and 85 kg.

Fat bastard
I have returned to the Classics section after a longer break. I am currently working on a list of Danish players from the 90s.

We should add AMF as a second position as he played there in test games and coach Magath seems to plan with him as a "No.10".

I would rather it's more SS than AMF for him. ;)
