Signed for _cyp Nea Salamina Famagusta on a season-long loan.

Fairly good this Season, in a great Nea Salamina team. He is a starter for them mainly as Right-CB or a Right-WB in a 3-4-3, basically he is sort of a replacement for Kousoulos who was sold to Omonoia Nicosia last Summer.
Christoforou's last Season's loan-spell at Aris Limassol wasn't particularly great. The whole team was struggling, resulting into early relegation for them as they didn't even make the relegation play-offs. Bytheway, he was playing mainly as Right-Back, Defensive-Mid, and even Left-Back last Season for Aris, and he was even injured in the last few weeks of the Season, which was the biggest part of their 2nd-half of the Season.
However, this Season he looks much better in a much more organised team and game-plan. He is close to reaching the levels he reached 3 or 4 years ago while playing for Aris being wanted by the likes of Panathinaikos as well as many big Cypriot clubs and even playing for the national-team, before moving to APOEL.
In the one Season he stayed at APOEL before leaving on-loan for the next two Season at Aris and Nea Salamina respectively, he played very little, and even when he played for example against very low level League opposition or dead-rubber Cup matches, he performed mediocre as well. APOEL's coach back then which was Christiansen was preferring Defensive-Midfielder Artymatas to be back-up for the Right-Back position, instead of Christoforou.
Difficult to say which is his favourite-position and his biggest assets. We've got to know him as a Right-Back when he first emerged at Aris for many years, but after recent great performances at Center-,Back, we may revise that in the future. He is sort of a player who is decent at almost everything, but not great at anything. His current Set describes him well; relative hard-working and tenacious, decent pace for a Full-Back and although not being his biggest assets, he can get forward and can cross a ball, without having great overall technique though. His Set looks good at the moment, and if I would change anything it would be adding CB as Secondary-Position, and maybe raising Defence by 2-3 points.
