Gheorghe Hagi is widely considered as the greatest Romanian footballer of all-time, and was regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe during the Early 1990s. He had excellent technique and vision, his passing abilities was unparalleled, and his shots often found the goal with very creative efforts, as witnessed by his long-range goal against Colombia in the 1994 World Cup first round. His dribbling ability was also formidable. Hagi was everything of Romania national team in their greatest era, qualified for 3 consecutive World Cup final tournaments. On the other hand, He fail to success his career in Spain both in Real Madrid and Barcelona, partly because of his injury but he totally had a hard time to adjust himself to their style of play. Hagi would be in his prime when playing as the most important role in midfield like Brescia or Galataslaay. I think these stats aren't perfect but not bad either...

regarding his 90s time at real and barca i think he was a different type of player than what he was at GS

well just as a curiosity the current set is just 1 point overall lower then Maradona and same as classic Ronaldinho ... but aside from that he is very dangerous and efficient in-game

I could try a set for his GS time and the time when he was at steaua-barca-real because he was basicly the same in that era

I think these stats represent his Barça-Madrid days, not his Galatasaray, by this time he was allready 35-36 years old and in the end of his career. I think these stats could remain as they are, but his era is all wrong. HE SHOULD BE PLACED IN HIS BARÇA OR MADRID TIME...

Yeah for some reason I cant imagine he was still this good at this age. Sure he is a huge legend, but with these stats this 35 year old would make look Riquelme like an idiot.

His goalrecord in the top leagues isnt more exciting then Gerrard or Lampard's. I think his SA at 85 would be fine (still better then a lot of top striker nowadays).

I think 2 sets of stats would be okay for him... one in the early 90s and one in the late ones. His style changed a bid over the years due to his injury and age and he matured in some other aspects.

the stats posted aren't too bad but ... well I'll show you ;)

One thing I know, It´s imposible for a player at 36 to be as fit as this, really...surreal. :? :?

nah... he always had a great fitness level... an injury really hampered his abilities the most.

So did Romario, but at 36 his stats are really different from the ones in his Barça days, 10 years younger, understand?

Another thing, in this set of stats he´s as good as Maradona, can you imagine Gika Haghi at 27 then, he´d be the greatest player ever.

Again I think the stats and the update from the old site were based on Hagi in his prime. What era should this be changed to? Im partial to 1992-1994
I agree with lowering shot Acc to 85.

He was never a fast player, his speed is really overated, and also his shooting abilities and BB are a bit overated.
On the other hand some technical abilities r a bit underated imo, he was that kind of player were the ball sticks to his feet, and his short passes were ALWAYS acurate, i sugest:

Balance: 78

Stamina: 82 - he didn't ran much actually

Top Speed: 82
Acceleration: 84

Response: 81 - not really responsive, and in my book 88 is crazy for an AMF

Agility: 85 - smooth movements

Dribble Accuracy: 94 - ball glued to the feet
Dribble Speed: 83

Short Pass Accuracy: 95 - one of the things were he surpassed maradona

Shot Power: 90
Shot Technique: 86 - i would rather give him *1-1 score for his chips and stuff

Header: 66
Jump: 71 - never saw him heading a ball

Aggression: 86

Team Work: 84 - r u shure u know the efects of TW? He has a godish pass, playmaking and passing, does he need to have 95 TW to be a WC playmaker? I don't think so. With 95 TW he'll be doing constant moves to open passing lines for himself, wich was not like him at all. Also, with TW this high he'll get tired more easly.

Weak Foot Accuracy: 6
Weak Foot frequency: 5 - he didn't use his right much, besides he defenitly deserves *outside

And why *positioning and *reaction, mainly when u have such a high agression for a playmaker? His goal scoring record is impressive, but that's due to his enormous eficiency in front of goal, FK's, penalty's and long shots. He wasn't the kind of player who showed up from the back to receive a cross, he played a more deep role.

Agree with you p1rha especially in terms of TS and ACC, even if we talk about 1994 Hagi. I only disagree with ST, I'd leave it as it is on 91.
This can't be emulated with 1-1 scoring, but with world class ST
