I don't see the 90 def/85 TW. Especially the 85 tw, he does play a good bit of players onside because he comes out and leaves his partner.. I belive it happend sevral times just today.

I'm no expert regarding Juve's defence but I believe the gap between this set and Bonucci's is just too wide. I mean... is really Barzagli this superior to Bonucci? +6 DEF, +3 BAL, +8 TS, +7 RES, +14 TW, better mentality... even if Bonucci is better in terms of technical abilities, ACC and Jump, the overall difference still seems a bit massive.

barzagli is a much better defender, the only problem I have is def is a little too high as is TW. everything else is fine imo.

for me, Barzagli's current set with maybe +1 on DEF and D-Line and a 7 in Condition is enough.

@Korinov

Bonucci is a numbskull. he's terribly inconsistent but when he gets his head straight he can be absolute class on the field. The thing is, he's extremely dumb and if played in a 4 man d-line he's out of his position and is far to exposed as he can't slide tackle for shit and occasionally sticks his foot out to try to recover a ball. Low TW is needed to represent his "shakiness" and high probability of leaving a hole at the back. Low RES is needed as well to recreate him at the 3 man D-line at Juve as he plays as a sweeper and leaves all the intercepting and tackling to Barzagli and Chiellini, all he does is send long balls and starts counters and makes sure that if a player passed one of Chiellini or Barzagli, he stops him, even if it means by a foul.

they are different defenders, but i agree with what you mean. I just posted in barzagli current, so you can see there my disagrees with this set. About the comparision, i honestly dont get why people see bonnuci with bad eyes, his last man tackles and blocks are sensational, plus his overall tackling is pretty good too. He also knows how to use his body strenght greatly, i find no difference with barzagli in this. Other is his tw...he is one great concentrated defender nowadays, always following them team defensive movements and covering theyre backs, i can remember one crucial i think 6 yard block against cesc in group stage because of this...thats very usual in him, he have good defensive temawork IMO. I use him with: 86 def, bb 85, resp 80, and tw 80, but my view on him doesnt seem to be accepted, guess people find it too soon or what ?

EDIT: clae just wrote and i reply: yes i remember when he played with giorgio or whatever in a 4 def line he is horrible, guess his only position should be sweeper :mrgreen:

kinda off topic, but I think bonucci was very good... there was just a lot of mistakes that made him look terrible at times, but hes a very high quality CB imo

off topic i know, but oh well...

yes, never mentioned that he sucks (apart from when he plays in a 4 man d-line), as he's great at the sweeper position, can't see anyone better in the Juve nor Italy roster who would fit that position better, apart from maybe De Rossi.

Yeah, he needs a WC 2006 set, because he's the only who don't have.
