His Defence was definitely better than this and his Response could be slightly higher. I don't have enough superlatives for this guy, Gilberto was and is an incredible DMF and one that is sorely missed. When he played it made a phenomenal difference to our team and his status as the invisible wall is something that made us so impregnable in the middle of the pitch. Wenger, like Edu and many others before him, sold Gilberto too early :(

Nice pic Yowza, but It's not from the right period of time, it's about 4 or 5 years later on judging by the kit so it's quite far out ;)

From the 02/03 season;

Many thanks! I tried to google it, but with no good results, so I had to leave the pic same as in the 1st post.

Oh right, didn't realise it was in the post anyway, thought it had been changed, sorry! :roll:
And I had to scroll through to about page 10 of Google images :lol:
I don't like the pictures in the first post to be too far off the era of a player you see :P

^ That's a feasible change, amongst others. This set could do with a few changes - it'll be very easy to replicate Gilberto in game, since he was more of a "cut and dry" player, as it were. Just needs some tweaks here and there - I'm thinking something along the lines of lower long passing stats, since he opted to recycle possession to the nearest man more often than not, as well as lower ATT and AGG (assuming AGG isn't already low enough as is).

Fortunately, this set's almost perfect.
His TS is 83, big deal. Arguing for 79 is whiny.
