Re-posted but missing some explanations. I've decided to give him WFA of 8 now after watching a little bit more of his lyon days. I see no real difference between his left and right, he misses with both feet pretty equally and his placement is just as good with his left as it is with his right. DS though seems harsh based on his supposed speed, but I think it's probably a touch too high "ladder wise" but I don't like how it feels with a lesser value, so I've opted for an 88.

What about Flicking skills?, he did it constantly when players tried to tackle him, probably one of the few player that deserve the card imo.

Wasn't he a bit quicker back then? Now his ts/acc is rated at 85/87 and there were some suggestions to increase it since he lost some weight and looks in general fitter but still in Lyon he reached his peak in terms of speed and the difference should be bigger IMO.

I like the set, I only have some suggestions to improve it.

At this time, Benzema was already a striker with a big team-mates. Lyon win the Cup and the Championship on the last time on 2008 and there were very dependant of Benzema and Juninho. I was watching all games of Lyon at this time. Benzema was coming back a lot to receive the ball and always going ahead with the ball. He organized his team and by many pass and many runs on the mieldfield.
By the way, he was very decisive and scoring a lot, all his offensive movements were beautiful. I'm thinking about a little raise on attack especially with the new standards.

The rest of the set is very good, great works jurgens ;)

My suggestions:

TW: 82/83
Att: 86/87

Done. But do you think he was this fast? I don't know if he was. Also, could probably higher his SA... as this was for our "old standards".. so in new it would be like a 90 or so.

Not at all you right to noticed it. He was fast with the ball and on his dribble but I think it was more on his body movements to compare with now. Approximatly I would like to say TS: 84 ; Acc: 86. It is more reasonable.

His beautiful goals to my mind with Lyon will approximatly show it:

His shoots was chirurgical, so agree with SA and I think SP could be one points higher too. At that time he wasn't waiting to receive the ball into the box to shoots. He was shooting sometimes from distance with a high power. SP:85 could be a good idea.

I'm not sure on BB too, he was wicker than now for sure. He was younger and falling on physical challenge a lot of times. 82 looks better to my mind. For sure he is stronger now with Madrid than before.

Edit: And defense should be a little lower. He is at 40 on his actual thread and now he is helping his team or making some tun to put the defenders under pressure. At that time he was to my mind always waiting for the ball and only coming back to receive the ball but not to defend. 36-37 looks more realistic.

I'd go even lower for BB. Wouldn't give him more than 80/81 for his Lyon days. He's like 10 kg of muscle heavier now than then.

^ definitely, especially when current benzema sits lower than him. Remember, benzema was only in his late teens in this set. His BB should be 80 max imo.

Really disagree. Benzema was physically superior in these days, faster, more agile and arguably stronger. Maybe he put on weight, but benzema lost a lot of his agression and detemination when he went to madrid, he was super agressive before his move in every aspect of his game. Thats the main reason he was so likend to ronaldo. Konami gave him an 86 in BB for his 20 year old season, theres a good reason for that.. I wouldn't go under 83.

I'd add a Madrid set of aprox 2011-14 era. In that time Real won La Liga, Copa del Rey and ofc UCL and Benzema played quite a huge role in here. Furthermore he have been French Plyaer of the yar 2011, 2012, 2014

Season.....App...Goals...Assists
2011/12...52.....32.......15
2012/13...50.....20.......20
2013/14...52.....23.......13

In all of these seasons he was a 2nd scorer of the team behind CR7.
I don't think he changed much if any since that time so current set would be at least good start for that another classic set of him, especially since last update was done in October 2014.

PS. If he was clearly faster in Lyon why in his current set he's 1 point above 07-09 in ts?

Since his current day set is likely to get a review soon, added 2011-14 set. Fixed some sync issues with the 07-09 one.
