Easy work really, just the stats he was given on this forum before recent downgrades. Might post up Man united era Forlan later.

Im too busy this Month to do any full updates or tests but we could still discuss what his Man utd set could look like

He sort off used to be a less skillful version of Tevez. Worked his bollocks off but never got a real solid run of games First, when he did get to play, he was inconsistent. One day you'd get a brilliant finish from him, the next day he'd miss a sitter. If you're not consistent, you're never going to get a good run with the first team. Additionally, when partnered with Ruud, he just couldn't link up well with him hence teamwork drop ( his alround vision and playmaking skills developed over time as well ) . He only really generally played well as a lone striker he did get one fairly good run of games with us when Ruud was injured. And scored something like 7 or 8 goals in 10 games.

A part of it may also have been the more physical play and defense in the EPL hence balance drop, though that doesn't do a lot to explain his flubbed chances, only to explain why he didn't get more good chances.

He did have other issues as well though .. his sister’s health in Spain. He always wanted to get to Spain at some point, his head was somewhere else. .

Edit: Heres a very rough interpretation I put together in a couple of minutes:

I'm talking about his 2010 set. Nothing to explain really, we were always under-rating his tech, that was clear and hes been updated since. It's not like he got magically better in a year, so it's logical to update? Same thing with TW, we had him at an 85 after the world cup, but lowered him when he played bad for athletico, so that should be updated too? Same could be said for his LPA/LPS. Any more thoughts on the set tasmin?

I'd honestly put his ATT into oranges for his best Atlético years. 90 - 91 maybe.

I also like Brezza's set for his ManU days, and think that maybe a set for his prime at Villareal could be added as well. That said, we could base it on his Atleti one but I don't know what kind of changes it should have, Forlán was a pretty consistant player during his time at Spain, didn't change his style of play much through the years and also maintained a similar physical level.

Agree on Villarreal set but not sure about an attack increase...was he really worth It? I mean most of his goals were from impressive long range goals and 89 Is already a damn nice number for a really complete player

His passing repertoire is extremely underrated, so is his dribbling...this is one of the most gifted frontman of this era if we put aside the Man United failings....as much of a complete offensive force as you can get in this neo-modern era of futbol

tbh what shocks me from him is his shooting, yet he have already a deadly combination, im tempted to go for higher in my OF, SA i mean...In his time he could really place whatever, from any position, range or foot. It is also pretty difficult to do some research of his goals, and not find an unbelievable one, extraordinary his shooting was. Probably people may argue he already have a good ST and even SP which makes him deadly already, cant agree with the ones who would...I won't suggest my number, but its high, for real i mean. I'd leave it up for discussion
