Age: 22 (FEB-14-1987)

I'm gonna say he'll stay with Boro' next season if they stay up.

He's already said that himself ;). Nice to see such a loyal player.

"I guarantee fourth place" - Rafael Benitez.

I've given him some tweaks, most notably in Defence. His positional sense has been abismal this season and so I've given him a value that should tie in nicely between the two extremes he has had over the last two seasons. Obviously it is pending his performances in the Championship next season.

I wasn't a big watcher of 'Boro last season but I remember him having a tendency to join in some attacks from the back leading to him drawing some comparisons, a bit tongue-in-cheek I might add, to Beckenbauer :D Now I'm sure I remember him doing it the season before too and I'm also sure it's lead to him scoring, could his Aggression be bumped up a little or were these just isolated moments?
Alf Ramsey: "I'll be watching you for the first 45 minutes and if you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime."
Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

He goes forward for set-pieces but when an attack has been instigated from his own half he very rarely joins it. Wheater is an example of many CB's that need to be assigned the "Player to go up" feature in PES2009. Even Sol Campbell goes forward more regularly than Wheater

I'd perhaps lower Balance and Header by 1/2 points.
Yes, I support Preston.
