Good set. I think his DA could come up to a 88 from this era, he seemed to lose a bit of control over time from when he was in england.

About speed and acceleration I'm still evaluating but pay attention that he was a few kilos lighter, for which he was more agile and fast
Agg: 6 points more than the current Tevez?
Ment: definitely in the 85-87 range. I'm better with 86

I think you should really consider increasing his DA. Not only was he more agile in his boca days, but he was also a better dribbler. It was much more in his nature back then to attempt to drrible players, and as such he just had a much closer control of the ball and was also more likely to attempt tricks... I'd put him on the same level as david pizzaro or current day zarate.

Agree. He was a better, faster dribbler. Maybe since his arrival to England he has developed al lot physically wich makes him less agile than his early years, but much more powerfull and tactical player. He gained weight but seems it's all muscles.
I'm also thinking BB -1/-2 and +1/+2 in speed stats. In those years his main weapons were his speed and technique, he wasnt that strong

i suggest TS +1 and ACC +1
IMO he was faster than the actual tevez and the actual tevez have TS: 85 ACC: 86 (the same as the classic)
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, THERE WILL BE NOT ANOTHER LIKE YOU

What about adding the current set?? I think that this season and the last season are the best in his career. Era could be 2009/2011

what an amazing player, i was lucky enough to see him back then when i was a kid, a better technical player than nowadays, i have some suggestions.

DA 92: he was a better dribbler than current tevez, with an amazing close control, really glued to his foot
TECH 89: great first touch of the ball, had some amazing traps back then, same as current tevez

i've made a video of Tevez vs Santos, he was already great at covering the ball with his body against bigger defenders as you can see, nice game by him :) .

Fuck he was great, i really miss that Tévez, he was just amazing when he appeared in Boca and till he went to Corinthians...isn't his attack so much low? The guy was a genius and dangerous as hell.

The first set hasn't been changed since it was originally posted I believe. He was quite a differnt player back then, but had all of his trademarks in place. He was much more of a dribbler and loved to bait people into coming at him with ball dragging, very much like riquelme in that regard. Watching him and D'alessandro in 2004 copa america was such a treat, things really looked promising for argentina. But of course neither of their carrers went as expected, Tevez hardy appeared in the next world cup and dale wasn't even called up.

Some possible changes for the first set

attack: 84
DA: 90-92?
ST: high 80's if not 90. I'll never forget the goal he scored in the olympics, phenomenal, poetry in motion. He was much better on his feet back in these days, so he was show casing some stunning volleys and what not.. that kinda went away when he gained a few stone, but you can still see a lot of it regardless.
BB: 85
STA: In the 90's, always had this crazy energy and it just improved with time.

We should also add his prime set from his city days, and consider an extremely high value for def, maybe in the low 60's.

Added 2013-2014 set. I don't understand, isn't City era set more needed than 2001-02 one? Isn't the set on the second post from World Cup 2006 instead of 2003-2004 season? (I think it belongs to the 2006 Argentina WC sets made by jurgens)
