I think his defence should be a lot higher. I think he is one of the best defenders in the Eredivisie, anyway much better than example Maza (PSV: 78)

I agree, maybe move Penders up to 79 and Maza and Djuric down to 76/77.

He could even warrant a number in the low 80's I feel. He's just so damn slow and his not-so-lightning-quick responses are the great let-downs but he usually compensates that with good positioning in front of the box.
Buon compleanno, il pibe d'oro.

yeah maybe DEF up to 79/80 and maybe AGI could be in the upper 60s.

Off the top of my head I can't recall any other outfield player being rated this low for Technique. Is he really that shocking technically?
Alf Ramsey: "I'll be watching you for the first 45 minutes and if you don't work harder I'll pull you off at halftime."
Rodney Marsh: "Crikey Alf, at Manchester City all we get is an orange and a cup of tea."

DEF could go up a little I guess, as that his only quality (with the phisical part)

What about:

S07 – Man Marking
Makes the player stay tight on the opponent when marking.

S10 – DF Leader
Makes offside traps more effective.

Hehe, well 61 is too low probably, but he looks funny when on the ball.
