Notes vs USA:
GK 1 Navas - 22yrs old/having a really good 1st half/RF/a very nice get in traffic/"having an inspired night"/a drop kick give away/very aggressive on a cross and got there pretty quick and through his body in there to punch away/
I'd like to compare him to Muslera, another young keeper who he will likely be facing in the playoff.

I agree that he could be -3 in Def/+5 BB/+5Acc/+3Jump/ than Muslera...which is what he currently is

Not sure he is:
Res: 84(on par with Andujar, and only -1 with Muslera?)
LPS: 68(didn't really seem anything more than 65 to me)
Agg: 55(i think overall the ladder needs to be looked at...but even comparing to Muslera I'd put him at 59-60)

Not real problems with the rest

Did you mean -5 in bb? You cant mean +5 :o

I think Navas is one of the better up and coming keepers in concacaf. Definitely in central america.

He seems pretty solid in positioning and handling. Good reflexes and quite good coming out on crosses.

I made a few tweaks but i think we should wait til the Uruguay playoff matches before making any big changes.

We should try and finish the the rest of the costa rican side actually. Not too many more needed.

I was saying Navas rightfully is 5 higher than Muslera in BB.

I generally say 79 in GK skills is well below average for a top flight keeper. But for a young keeper playing in Costa Rica....maybe 79 is a good value in that league.

Ok, I went over the Serie A ladder and made some slight changes.

Generally though I think he is pretty fairly rated. With these stats he is basically lower echelon of the Serie A.

I think that fits him well considering he is pretty unproven and playing in a relatively weak league. Plus he is very young at 22.

You can compare him with Ochoa (Mexico) too, bouth are good GKs and Navas win the best GK in the last Copa de Oro.

And he do a great job agains Uruguay in the playoffs.

He's a very good keeper. Definitely one of the best in Concacaf.

Pity he isn't starting for his club. He should probably move to another team, he's definitely good enough to be a starter on most clubs.

I'm thinking his Keeper skills and Defense can both go up to 83.

I think he deserves updates on this
Defense 84
Goal Keeping Skills 85
Response 88
Tenacity 81

Not only for his games with Levante this year, but as well for his games with Costa Rican national team against Mexico, United States.
Sorry for my english!

Seems reasonable although not quite sure on 88 response.

I only seem him for the national team...so maybe we can get a few more opinions from La Liga followers before changing.
