I don't believe he does play as CMF, and his registered position is AMF.
and i have some stats suggestions too:

Defence: 51 (make a lot of fouls trying to steal the ball)
Balance: 84
Top Speed: 81
Acceleration: 80
Response: 79
Agility: 80
Dribble Accuracy: 83
Dribble Speed: 79
Short Pass Accuracy: 81
Short Pass Speed: 79
Technique: 81
Aggression: 81

Agree with renatomm suggestions, but I'd say:

Attack: 75 - Nothing special, but not that bad.
Dribble Speed: 81 - He really don't loose a lot of speed with the ball.
Short Pass Speed: 80~81 - His short passes are a bit faster.
Long Pass Accuracy: 79 - A bit more accurate.
Long Pass Speed: 78 - And faster.
Shot Technique: 77 - He can shot under pressure and even with bad angles.
Curling: 80 - Nice swerve, he can put nice curlings on free kicks and shots.
Technique: 81~83 - He have a nice first touch, a bit better than first post IMO.

Well, Diego Souza. I think I watched all his games at Grêmio, so I know him very well to make some suggestions:

First, Diego Souza isn't a fast guy, but isn't slow. I think your rate at TS an Acc. is OK, but IMO i'd go with 79 for both, considering the last suggestions for Hernanes, that is cleary fast than him.

Second, his technique is underrated. It can be 83 easily. This guy have great technique and very good dribbling skills. His dribble acc. can be 84 or even 85.

Third, his Mentality should be lower, and his registered position AM. He is know as a lazy guy, and he don't like playing as CM. When he play there, he make a lot of fouls and play very bad. As AM, he make a lot of good passes and shots on goal, but never come back to help the defense.

I also think his Response is a bit underrated. I'd go in 77-79 range. He have enough bad Defense for the argument of the lot of fouls he do when play as CM, and when he plays AM he acts much like a CF sometimes, antecipating the marker, and this is why his response can't be so bad.

And finally, TW should be increased. He is very selfish sometimes, but isn't that much. He like do various assists for his teammates, and he link with them well. I'd go in the high 70s.

I only disagree with Stamina, FKA, Mentality:

Sta: 81 (He is completely tired in the final minutes of the matches, sometimes have to be replaced)
FKA: 79 (More power than accuracy)
Ment: 79 (His performance drops drastically in the final minutes of the matches)
