he's primarily a SMF he's only playing as RB due to absences and the not so good form of clyne in the last month or so, also i'm quite sure that he's perfectly capable of covering the central spots in the midfield as well. as for DEF i don't think that he's justified to have such a value, mid 50's would suffice, TW could definitely use a big bump to the 73-76 region and passing is debatable for me atm.

Looks like he's off to Arsenal in yet another big money move, £16m! From what I saw of him last season he looks like a very another promising player from Southampton, in the similar mould of Shaw, although someway off his level of ability (although this bridge in class will certainly get smaller with experience). It has also been suggested that Chambers is also able to play in the centre of defence.

He is very comfortable defensively and rarely makes mistakes, with his stats for last season being comparable to the likes of Ivanovic and Sagna, although he obviously made fewer appearances. A raise in DEF to low-mid sixties, around 64-66 may do this some justice?

He is very good at pressing and winning the ball both in the opponents half as well as his own, so a potential rise in TW and MENT could also be justified.

His passing statistics and ability are also very impressive, although his stats are potentially skewed slightly by Southamptons fluid passing style of football. I propose increases in both SPA and LPA.

Other areas such as STA, ATT, DA, DS and BC and AGG could probably also do with a boost.

He certainly has the potential to become England's first choice right back in the future, although personally I believe he'd benefit more from consistent first team football than he would at Arsenal, although Walcott and the Ox have proved otherwise.

this means that jenko will probably will go out on loan (or maybe is used as a CB, don't really know), too bad because i liked that player but it seems obvious that chambers looks way more comfortable with the ball in his feet, and it seems he has already a better future, we will see what he can bring to the team in the future.

By the way, southampton have any player left? :?

CB is more than an option. I don't think who Wengers buy an CB.

not yet really, he have played there only few games and that is because wenger is seeing how he will do as a backup but i'm certain, arsenal will buy another CB and Chambers will stay as a RB who can play as a CB. also he tends to go to the sides as he seems comfortable in those areas. lets just wait to see some updates.

(what is strength stat by the way?)

i thought so, but in reality i haven't seen any duel of him against a strong player, i' have just seen some great tackles and interception. but probably he will deserve more in the future. he has the capacity to be a great defender (but not that great in the air).

He is the one who has been performing better of the new players, Debuchy has been struggling in the side (not what has been expected from him), Alexis has been dangerous but still lacks the link with his teammates (also giroud doesn't help him), and Ospina hasn't played.

here are some vs videos of him
Spoiler: show

He actually plays really well in center positions, as he said himself, he feels comfortable there so after all it may be safe to change his primary position to CB, RB as second position and add DMF position as well maybe.
As a CB he play like an experimented defender (of course with some fails at positioning due to inexperience), he is really comfortable with the ball in his feet and is really adventurous with his passes, he may even deserve some yellow values. he is not afraid of going forward himself or dribble out of some danger situation.
When Debuchy goes forward (which is a lot, leaving exposed the defense), he goes to the right side with koscielny playing as SWP.
I really started to like him as a CB, and still i can see him as a DMF, more suited to the task than arteta or butcher flamini maybe.
His tackles are something to look forward too, i like his combo of speed, tackling, passing and power (BB). i only believe he need to work in his aerial game and positioning a bit.

So, the set may need a complete update, but i want to read more opinions to come to concrete values.

I agree with an update,he has shown great defensive skills and doesnt look like an 19year old.
Suggestions:
Defense: 80
Body Balance: 79
Header: 77

what do you think?
