Appearently he became player of the year at Palace, and now (through he advice of Davids) Ajax is interested in this guy when van der Wiel leaves. Anybody knows these stats are still accurate?
He played all 46 games last season by the way. Impressive.

agree with you in everything, the most impressive thing about Clyne is his defending (tackling) and his resilience when confronting an opposing player, like you said, not particularly strong but gets the job don't because he's just determined and aggressive in doing so. i rate him quite highly tbh, has the potential to develop in a great fullback if he sorts a few things out but those will mainly come with years and experience, not that he's bad atm, but he's simply got a lot of space to improve. regarding his forward runs, i'd say it'd be nicely recreated with giving him ATT/DEF awareness 3/2 with the current ATT/DEF ratio.

He's probably a []Slide Tackle candidate. While he's fairly weak, he impressed me with his (accurate, effective) tackles, regardless of the quality of the rival (Man U last Sunday).

cale, what you think of him, you said he was underated but apart from the bump in attack I've just given him all other updates would be a downgrade as this is an old standard set

well, for starters i've always been somewhat impressed by his defensive abilities which are kinda overlooked,
-i'd say swap ATT and DEF and raise AGG
-his overall aerial game is poor at best, doesn't deserve greens
- SPA is anywhere between 70-74 and SPS needs to be in high 60's to emulate his tendency to just do simple lay offs
- his crossing is pretty decent, current number is sufficient i'd say
- RES in whites
- higher DS and bordering yellows for DA
- BB is sufficient, wouldn't mind a +1 but not a point higher
- shooting power low greens
- MENT a drop of a few points, not lower than 75
- TW is a suspect for me, as he's fairly decent at staying in sync with the other defenders but he ventures forward far too many times and is caught out of position

He is having an excellent season. He is an all-round good Full-Back, similar to Shaw.
He doesn't lack anything really. Pretty strong, really quick, good in the attack and decent in defense, good crosses, even decent in the air.
What about some updates?
I would suggest:
Header Accuracy: 70 (+2)
Short Pass Speed: 72 (+4)
Swerve: 72 (+4)
Response: 76 (+2)
Body Balance: 78 (+2)
Kicking Power: 78 (+2)
Tenacity: 78 (+3)

ADD Cards: Offensive Side-Back , Darting Run .

I agree with all petreleo suggestions but SP can be even higher IMO , at least 80 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-ZWUM0lGng cause with the actual value he has the lowest SP in Southampton's team and i don't think that he is really that bad ;)
Also , for me he can have +1/2 even in some other abilities like : ATT , SA and STA cause he is really dangerous in ATT seeing that he is a SB , also scores from time to time and shows a very good STA ;)

A great RB , one of my favorites , i would really like him in Bayern cause we need a good RB :D

Given him an update with Peterleo's suggestions. Been one of the best fullbacks in the league last season and was an integral part of a stern Southampton defense as well.

in Klopp´s system he playes more as a wing back than side back, the same Moreno.. i suggest adding WB position.

his aggression, stamina, attack, long pass accuracy is much better than this. he lacks defensive intelligence though. i think he needs low mentality and response too.
