Oh dear, how many full games have you seen of Van Persie and Rooney?

Mate, Wazza isn't a world class finisher. The ones he puts away are usually really well taken goals, but he misses a fair few as well, trust me, he's not at the level of 85 yet.

p.s. it's 'class with a brass' not 'the pass'.. :?

Over Rooney's career? About 50. Haven't seen too many of van Persie, around 5 for RVP.

50 is enough to know he's not at an 85 surely. Having said that, 50 is only a season and a bit anyway, not that many games really, seriously, he's a good finisher but he's not up there near michael owen and nicolas anelka. 82 is fine for him :)

Anelka? Right. Like I said, done.

P.S. I know. I just like to say 'pass' more. It justifies the Fabregas line.

despite his shocking injury record, he was priced at 18m quid in january 2008 when city were desparate. no deal. he gets yet another injury, barely figures for blackburn for the rest of the season, finishes it with like 2 goals. yet somehow, even tho city brought adebayor the week before, he was still 18m quid. fucker isn't fit at the start of the season, isn't fit when adebayor is banned. isn't fit for three sodding months. makes two shocking brief appearances, looks like a pub player, then for mark hughes's last game, he finally turns up, shows all his skill and awareness. and as soon as that's over, straight away he gets injured again, just in time for when city need him, the ACON...

and people wonder why MH got sacked just before the transfer window.

Yes Anelka. Anelka has been a proven striker for a lot longer than Rooney and is a considerably better finisher.

And the Fabregas line isn't about Anderson being a better passer than him, that'd be silly, even United fans realise he's not of that standard in terms of passing. It's about when he dicked all over him when we played the Gunners at Old Trafford a couple of years ago and harrased him for the whole game. Not to mention this :D

The brass line is totaly unrelated to Fabregash, as it's about his class with hookers 8-)

Another reason I only use some of the stats from this site. Honestly, this thread is about Roque Santa Cruz, not Nikolas 'I can't make a penalty' Anelka. Better finsher. haha

Anelka was making penalties whilst Rooney was robbing nappies from Safeways - How many golden boots has Rooney won? And he played in the best attacking team. Even "5 chances 1 goal" Andy Cole was made to look clinical by young Wazza. :P

Rooney scores lovely goals, but that's down to other things than pure world-beating SA. His response, balance, technique, anticipation, positioning, pace, imagination and power for instance.

That picture isn't even Santa Cruz, he hadn't signed for them when they had that kit.

Okay, this thread is getting a little bit off-the-beaten-track now, and I can't see any substantial suggestions regarding Santa Cruz although I certainly hope that wizzball will be able to express his opinions regarding Roque towards the end of the season (I've been very impressed regarding his posts). So I'm going to lock the thread. Ah, the thrills of being a moderator!

What cracks me up is that there's so much furore regarding Santa Cruz's Shot Accuracy, who has played so little this season to substantiate any real proof of poor shooting, yet there's been absolutely nothing about Tevez's Shot Accuracy and Shot Technique which are so very wrong at the moment! (An 82! Why? Tevez is a sure-fire 84. For him to be below Van Persie and Rooney is a bit, well, criminal really.)

I exaggerated, but yeah injury tolerance needs to be E, condition needs to be 5 or lower and stamina needs to go down, attack could also go down
