Mooy is really really good on the ball, and is a fighter, he's been fantastic since moving to a deeper position and feel his mentality and ball control deserve to be higher.

Quite possibly, wondering what else should be changed in light of his deeper role....also needs a slighy bump in stamina as well

Manager David Wagner has a huge himself with Huddersfield. Mooy provides some nice composure, which is really helpful for their ball possesion style by default, but they can also adapt to a more incisive, faster tempo if required.

Set looks fine overall; just needs some few changes like slightly lower Agi and a huge TW boost. The way he moves off the ball is great for being Terriers' playmaker by default. He's not just dictating tempo, but also moving a lot either when his side is in ball possesion or not. Even providing some extra offensive depth when he roams into the box once in a while.

I was skeptical at first when Huddersfield paid an almost eight-figure fee to sign him, but it was definitely worth the value. Great merit on Man City for scouting him in Australia despite being already in his mid-20s at that time.

All his passing stats should be nerfed a bit.

Don't get me wrong; he's still fairly good at dictating tempo and building up play, but he still plays it safe most of the time. He barely shows glimpses of incisiveness and creativeness on his passes. Long balls usually go straight to Mounié/Depoitre, but they are rarely through balls.

He would definitely enhance his performances with a more creative CM/AM at his side, to let Hogg focus solely on defending in midfield while Mooy would have more space to play as an all rounder. Huddersfield struggled a lot to generate scoring chances this season, and it is like a blatant idea to leave the creative role for Mooy, who's just not an excelled player in that regard.

I give credit to David Wagner for keeping Huddersfield out of the bottom three bunch with a fairly humble team and budget for Premiership standards, but he seriously needs to plan on adding depth with creative players for the next season. I have no problems on seeing ball possesion tactics, but they have to be justified with someone who can put flair and generate chances to score goals.

Exceptional performance from him today against Wolverhampton, 2 goals, one from a freekick and would've still been man of the match even without the two goals. He was everywhere, safe in his passing but exceptionally smart with his decision making and effective in everything he did, even dribbled past a few players despite being exceptionally slow. Played at the right side as a box to box CMF and was spectacular today. Set looks really accurate btw.

He usually tends the ball relatively safe with ground passes. But, on the other hand, he's an insane long ball deliver. He's not just into sending long balls forward towards the target man, but also providing some amazing long through ball towards the wingbacks down their respective flanks. I'd mostly nerf his short passing stats but long passing ones are definitely mid 80s material.
