Highly underrated player. Deniz managed to grab 10 goals and 10 assists last season and he is looking like a late bloomer but an impressive one. He plays predominantly as a right winger and attacking central midfielder so his default positions need adjusting. Deniz plays noticeably better on the right side of the flank as an unorthodox winger because he has a differently style to Gokhan Tore, even though both are similar in physique and the fact that both are left footed players playing on the right flank. His long passing is very impressive and noticeably better than his short passes. The first post also underrated his shooting ability because he was able to score 10 goals, which is the minimum expected goals from an average striker in this league. His concentration levels are impressive so an increase in response would be in place. However, his defensive contribution needs improvement, but he isn't afraid to tackle opposition, which is another issue because he has discipline issues. Clearly the frequency of his defending and tackling need improvement so his defence shouldn't be higher than 54 max. His teamwork should be at least a yellow figure, but his short pass accuracy should be lower because his pass success rate is average at best and also because he likes to play long balls.
Kayserispor are demanding 10 million euros for this guy so that says a lot. Probably not as exciting player like Cengiz Under, but Roma signed him for 13 million euros!
