Andreas Ivanschitz, born October 15, 1983 in Eisenstadt, is an Austrian footballer currently playing at Mainz 05. He was also captain of the Austrian from 2003 to 2009.

After several seasons with Rapid Vienna, Ivanschitz merges the club Red Bull Salzburg, which will hardly be appreciated by fans of the capital. Not part of plans to coach the Red Bull Salzburg, Giovanni Trapattoni, he was loaned for two seasons at Panathinaikos, where he quickly emerged as a framework for the Greek team. At the end of his loan in June 2008, he signed a final contract binding him to the club from the capital.

Regarded as the only world-class player in Austria's NT, the former Austrian captain is called the David Beckham of Austria compared to their similar playing style.

I'm totally agree with this set of stats.

Are very fine with this playing style.

I still disagree with that "world class player" aspect in the description and I'm not too sure if he really deserves higher speed values... he's really not a quick player.

Well, 81/82 isn't really quick... It's true he's not really fast, but he isn't really slow, too. I think if we take a look at the Teamladder we'll find the new values fine.

I just think that the current speed stats are fine the way they are but maybe scr has more of an opinion on that ;)

world class?

Regarding speed.. He is average in that aspect, I wouldn't disagree on a little raise to 80. Besides, he always struck me as an intelligent player - Response could also border 80 in my opinion.

responce sounds fair but I don't know about teamwork: 84 either... I basicly think of his times at Rapid or the Austrian NT and he has never been that playmaker to help our game there. To me he's a decent player for any midtable team but he's not good enough for the big guns nor for smaller sides where he'd have to carry the team.

He wasn't much of a keyplayer for Panathinaikos either btw.

Needs a global update. His main position in Mainz is AMF. He also played some games last saison as SS.

So position: AMF, SMF, SS

Attack needs a big raise. He´s really dangerous in front of the goal. Also Middle Shooting should be add.
He is the player at Mainz for the inovation in the game. If he plays most attacks are initiated by him. He has a great overview and play nice passes. His Stamina has to go down he is often is a sub or get replaced in the second half. His Response, Mentality and Teamwork has to go down a bit. I see his SA over his ST. If he has enough time his placing is deadly. LPS has to go down a bit, too. When the passes are missing they mostly lake at Speed. His Technique is better. He has a really great first touch.

So this is my set:

Attack: 81
Defence: 41
Balance: 78
Stamina: 76
Top Speed: 80
Acceleration: 82
Response: 74
Agility: 81
Dribble Accuracy: 82
Dribble Speed: 77
Short Pass Accuracy: 83
Short Pass Speed: 77
Long Pass Accuracy: 84
Long Pass Speed: 79
Shot Accuracy: 77
Shot Power: 83
Shot Technique: 75
Free Kick Accuracy: 83
Curling: 84
Header: 69
Jump: 73
Technique: 85
Aggression: 82
Mentality: 74
Keeper Skills: 50
Teamwork: 80

Condition/Fitness: 5
Weak Foot Accuracy: 3
Weak Foot Frequency: 3

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
★ Passing
★ Outside
★ Middle Shooting

PLAYER INDEX CARDS:
P09 - Cut Back Pass
S02 - Passer
S06 - Outside Curve

MOTION STYLE:

ATTACK / DEFENCE AWARENESS: OFF
