well.. I love this goalie.. I'd pay such disgusting price for him if I'd be Berlusconi but that old fuck is mindless..

I wanna suggest defence 85.. seriously.. it's 'just' one point but after checking out ladder for Serie A and EPL.. I think there's no way his positioning is par with the likes of Dida or Kalac and it's not like these goalies are overrated but this young lad is simply better at positioning already!

he's amazing.. for me, the best young goalie in the world.. I am not sure why ManU didn't but him already.. van der Sar is going to retire soon for sure.. and that ugly Polish guy is not a reliable top club goalie..

His LPA is pretty good. But he doesn't get great distance. So maybe keep his LPS at 62, and move LPA to 60. :?

I never find his foot skills to be special...That was some of his weak point but since he is at lyon he improved well in this area.
Anyway he has confirmed his talent his season: awarded best GK in ligue 1 and taken in French NT: Some of his highlights:

I think he could have a little raise in DEF(+1). Two things that impressed me a lot with this GK are his jump and his GKS(+ his fantastic response of course). For such a young GK, his handling is really impressive. He is capable of catching some balls which other goalskeepers would have punched. He have a maturity for an experimented GK( :P ).

Some of his saves are simply minded-blowing(thanks to his response and his surprising jump) Putting him at GKS86 would be fair. Also like in mandanda thread, i think that both(lloris and mandanda) have confirmed their fantastic response, and seeing the ladders, i think an huge raise in res for both is needed(resp+2).
To resume:

Def:86(+1)
RES:92(+2)
JUM:88(+2)
GKS:86(+1)

For the GKS, he prove he is better than Mandanda in handling. For the response, you suggest to raise Mandanda's response at 93 and I think they are at the same level. For the defence, him and Mandanda are improve this year in positioning. And for the Jump, yes, he is incredibly but he is tall and not better than Frey (87). So, I agree with Def:86, RES:93, GKS:87 and JUMP:87(+1).

He is 22.

Keep in mind that Frey(1,89) is taller than lloris(1,88) and also heavier. In the vid, lloris made some crazy jumps at 0:31,0:51,1,54,3:07,4:12...doesn't it worth 88 in jump ?

But don't forget that Frey weighs A LOT more than Lloris which also influence his jumping. Think he must get a higher value there than Lloris, though Lloris only weigh 77kg which is really low for a keeper.

But imo anyway, lloris has a better jump than frey.

He could be faster than TS72/ACC74, for example compared to Julio Cesar or Buffon, who both have TS72/ACC75!

On the sadly famous France-Eire, he has proved that he runs faster than many other goalkeepers. And with Lyon this season too. I think this is an oftenly forgotten skill of this goalkeeper, who is instantaneously lain in front of any forward trying to score. Watch at 0:20, and especially at 1:09 how fast he runs on Robbie Keane : VIDEO on Youtube.

I can't say he runs faster than Casillas (TS77/ACC80), but I don't think he is so slow compared to Valdes (TS76/ACC77).

My Lloris stats:
Top Speed: 75 (+3)
Acceleration: 79 (+5)

More objective suggestion, (WC2010 will confirm):
Top Speed: 74 (+2)
Acceleration: 77 (+3)

personally, i don't think he showed a really good positional sense in the 2 games against fenerbahce. he made 1 good save that really stood out throughout the 2 games and was rather average (imo) in those games.

The last two years, he is clearly better than these guys in 1 on 1, and was able to show through his crappy defence(remember Lille-Lyon this year).

Agression: Lloris has a tendancy to rush out and i think he could be on the level of Cech (62) or Casillas (63).

DA and Technique could be standardized.

In comparison with Mandanda, he is on same level in Mentality/Team Work and that is not true: in NT, we see clearly a difference between them: Lloris could rush out in corners and not Mandanda; and seems to be better on giving orders and be more helpful in setpieces.

To summary:

Dribble Accuracy : 51
Technique : 50
Agression : 62
Mentality : 81
Team Work : 78
Add S12 - 1-on-1 Keeper/*1-on-1 Stopper

And I agree with Zorb on these values:

what he needs the most is composure. He rushes out way too easily and therefore makes brutal positional mistakes that could get punished.

Sometimes those mistakes aren't what they seem to be.
Anyway, his response is quite impressive.
