Jay Spearing is on 71 DEF, Allen is 69. If you ask me we could just switch them around and it would be a much better representation.

Have to agree too, Gerrard and this guy were the only two focused in today's match, allen's participation always makes me think about a tw raise _tick

I also agree TW could be ever higher.

No way, Spearing is more solid defensively than Allen.
For Wales NT Blake and Crofts are the most solid options to give defensive support in the midfield, Allen is not over them by any means in that aspect.
If that was the case, Allen would be a solid DM with a deep-lying playmaker role for both Liverpool and Wales NT.
TBH I was surprised when Stu (?) gave him DEF 69. Just an opinion, but he's not over his countrymate David Edwards (68) in that aspect of the game.

The irony of these suggestions, is that they're only made when he has joined a 'bigger club'. Despite the fact that his old club are actually doing much, much better.

Allright then! But a raise in TW would be justified

Sorry jez i just disagree, we are saying he's good because we know him better now not because he's a liverpool player.

Disagree with Talisman and Playmaking. He's not that type of player by any stretch.

Why optional? He can play as DMF, give it to him.

he as serious troubles with passing, he set up a chance for Welbeck yesterday with awfully wrong back pass, then later he wanted to return ball back to Reina (easy pass) and he sent the ball towards corner flag?? I don't think he deserves more than 79 for SPA if he can't make simple back passes, also I don't see him make some creative passes when Liverpool are attacking.
just an average player imo and this set looks too generous, apart from MEN which should be over 82 because he fights for every ball.

i just realised he actually played today after i double checked the line ups for the game

apparently he was supposed to play left centre midfield in the midfield three behind coutinho, if that is so, then he did a really shitty job as all i remember is glen johnson getting continuously isolated and trapped by numerous southampton players, and nobody supporting the leftside, or defending the space there, or providing an option.
If you don't put effort into your post, i won't put effort in my response.
