you think he is more slow?

No, I don't know really. I think that his DA-DS could be updated.
His DA is unique in the world IMO, I think that 93 is a world class number, but could be even better IMO. And his DS isn't too crap, with the ball is far fast than without it, Remember that similar TS players like Totti, has 84 in DS and I don't watch too much difference.

I'm so glad to see him playing again (plus with a nice performance :D )

I can agree with that, but I don't think that he deserves more than 82. DS should be between 80 and 82 IMO

I was thinking on drop defense and raise mentality a bit. We know that he usually don't go back to steal the ball but he actually has a good tenacity, so i think we need to decrease DEF to 40-41 and raise MENT to 75-76.

What do you think guys?

agre in:
DA:9*?
DEF:41
DS:81
MEN:75
i remember in the ibra's (when ibra have 95 in DA) thread somebody says roman is better than ibra in DA. and i agree with him. personally i can put 94 or 95 to roman in DA.i prefeer 95 but 94 looks good too...

what think about the 80 in ATT? i can put him 81(-1 than classic roman), he always create danger when go to attack

jorgecavs wrote:Top Speed: 75

why decrease his TS? he is not so slow (no corre mucho pero no quiere decir que sea lento).... 75 is low for him i think. i have him with TS:77 ACC:78 and easily can have 78/78 for me. looks slow for his style but he isn't SO slow

He is very slow without the ball at his feet, 75 would be best.

DS. Body 81 is like Zapata, and Chapa is faster than him, 80 would be the maximum number.

WFA= 5
WFF= 5>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1

He continues to use his left foot a lot, because its accuracy is 5. I did that game and looked very real ... 8-)

IMO his DA could stay even in red, but I don't know 94 will be a posibility. His DA isn't too far than Messi's (yes it's other style).

About his mentality, we have to rate depending what we consider in Mentality. If we consider get back to defend or sacrifice for the team Riquelme deserves 44  , but If we consider important matches, stay in the field when his Stamina (Riquelme's is so poor, take into account that and he plays 90') and strong of his head, Román's mentality should stay in 77-78, so what do you think guys? I compare him with Totti because in his phsical condition aren't too far, and Totti has 77 in mentality

Nice, for now we have these balance of suggestions:

Attack: 81 (+1)
Defence: 41 (-3)
Top Speed: 77 (+1)
Acceleration: 78 / 79 (+1/+2)
Dribble Accuracy: 94 (+1)
Dribble Speed: 81 (+2)
Mentality: 76 (+2)

I think that these stats could be updated too:

Agility: 83
Short Pass Speed: 87
Long Pass Speed: 86
Shot Accuracy: 78
Shot Power: 85
Aggression: 75

AGREE, about ACC 78 or 79 is the same for me.

i think:
Agility: 83 is ok for me. you think in an increase or decrease?
Short Pass Speed: 87 for me, could go up maybe too 89 ( on pair with roman of 97/01, for me is better passer now compared with 97/01)
Long Pass Speed: 86 the same as SPS, go up to 88
Shot Accuracy: 78 the same as SPS and LPS, 78 looks low in my opinion but is no so bad
Shot Power: 85 for me is ok, he shoot strong. for example in the goal vs colon.
Aggression: 75 i can put him 76/77. stay a bit more aggresive now, (termina muchas jugadas adentro del area a veces)

DS is 80 for me, like "Mago" Ramirez, "Pipi" Romagnoli, "Burrito" Ortega, he is NOT faster than them. :geek:
Messias18 I think it knows better than anyone and he should upgrade.

I think this kind of player has a fast feet movements and a yellow value is needed. Nothing to do with speed.

Haha. Get it.

Isn't probable that his movements are effective and slow.

Like Cassano in game he's not like real one even with 84DS and 95DA.

I'm a fan of the players who use the sole of their foot when dribbling (i.e. tevez, moreno, prosinecki, zidane, fabiani, etc) and I've never seen a player who can do it better than riquelme, he doesn't need to do crazy dance movements like robinho to dribble, he just puts the sole of his right feet and that's it. Neither zidane nor maradona were better in using the sole of the foot than riquelme. NADIE LA PISA COMO ROMAN! then....

why doesn't he have the step on skills :?: when it's been given to almost every decent player in this website .. he does the drag back skills perfectly, he practically invented the foot sole skills :!:

he also makes the matthew feint almost everytime he wants to make space to shoot

You make laugh each time i see this face haha.

Riquelme doesn't have a real accuracy in his dribble if he keep a low DS.
