around the 15th minute of the second half vs newells he made an incredible run with the ball through the middle, looked EASILY like high 80's or so in DS.

Such a great buy from Catania, and for such a low amount of money for a NT player... Velez failed.

It's because he prepared his physical shape around 1 month , It seems a great job of the physical trainer because Gino arrived insanely out of shape and with a muscle tear in some leg but yes, he's in a great level and he's one of those few players irreplaceables.

He'll probably play better in attack if that useless piece of shit called carrizo can give him a pass instead of cutting inside and throwing the world's most floaty cross ever.

Against Arsenal: He started to go up to attack with better confidence than before and he can reach a really nice pace on the ball. About defensive role i might say the same every match, great at anticipation, nice tackling, sliding and without problems on his side but
perhaps his performance yesterday was enhanced due that crappy team.

Great match against River, never was overpowered for Martinez which had no chance against him because Peruzzi was almost impassable today. I already love him (regarding football, obviously ), he's NT material without doubt.

 his lpa is a joke, i mean his crosses looks awful, but damn he is really solid in defense, nice tw and decently aggressive but i have doubts if he needs those values in att/agg.

Switching lpa to lps and 80agg as top must be fine, isnt it? i mean, imo he doesnt need low att tbh, when he goes up to attack he's quite clever and dangerous. Perhaps some other point of view would be helpful here.

some examples about his crap crosses against Banfield:

despite this set is very accurate, imo he need some tweaks here and there.

Acceleration: 82 an aesthetic change but on my eyes he does need one more second to start its first burst
da: he's ok in that regard, not too much average and no way a decent dribbler. It would be rated 2 or 3 points lower if you ask me.
agility: 80
lpa 73 and lps 76: its crosses are crap almost always, he does deserves a decrease in that value for sure. Switching both values should be fine
SMF should be deleted

is pretty hard to say if he is better in defense than in attack, even is hard to say if those values in def and att are well rated. He is good in att, he moves with criteria and is incisive time from time, in defense he is reliable not at all because he is a great tackler, just does his job pretty well, stand up in midline to be more active to recover the ball more faster.

also needs 3 att awareness, always is an option in attack, dont think he is that "good" about his shooting his placement is just regular. for now i did those changes, i leave att/def discussion open to suggestions.

Some notes against vs river:

He's definitely not worthy of yellow jump, doesn't matter if he's well positioned, he's always losing in the air . Also its too easy for River to overpass him. They are always looking for long balls to his back because theres a HUGE gap between him and Vergini to take adventage of. His defense looks easily −6. Also his bb its just awful, hes so weak in body battle that almost everybody easily oustmuscled him.

Btw taking into account we have the worst defense in the whole league i would like to decrease his tw too. It´s not only about awful defensive resources, but amateur coordination between teammates.

As much as they can't work together, this affirmation isn't true at all. We have 30 teams in AFA and there is at least more than 10 teams with much worse defence than Boca, specially considering the club is still 1st in the standings. The fact they can't understand together or have low performances doesn't mean they're shit or the worst defence. Try to get your supporter feelings out to make such claim, specially after losing the derby, we lose credibility with such things.
