There's no way he can be stronger than Sakho.

He is the best Liverpool centre back since Klopp took the job.

Not so hard for him to improve his performances, considering his terrible form in the previous 12 months or so...

^ That's true, he was awful last season and looked like he had a mistake in him at any given point of the match. This season has certainly been much improved and he's looked more like the player he was at Southampton than what we seen last year.

He has always been inconsistent and error prone, but it seems like he's gotten much more secure since he's started being partnered with Van Dijk. It's only a couple games, but hopefully this will keep going on the long run.
Everyone knew it was impossible. Then came along a fool who didn't know it, and he did it.

having followed him at Liverpool and this world cup I have no idea what to think of Lovren ... i've loved and hated him throughout his Liverpool career
when he's in form he is top class like at this world cup .. very few errors

I have a strange feeling that it's very important with who he is partnered ... and I don't know if that brings out the best in him or if he's partner covers for him and we don't notice his mediocrity ... that being said he did play with several defenders and I haven't noticed a clear trend in his performance when partnered with X or Y defender, but I might not have been paying enough attention

His TW looks incredibly underrated here, i don't think that was ever his flaw, not to this extent at least, definetely. He looks like a mid yellow TW easily for quite some time, that's his main quality. Doesn't ruin the structure of d-line, holds his position well, tactically well astute.

DEF can go even higher, i'd give him up to 87 DEF without any problem, he's a good 1v1 defender, good slider, great shot blocker too (a diving header card candidate) and his overall def prowess is quite brilliant, the guy is a talented defender really, you can see that he has a natural gift to defend.

Also, i can see his JUM and HEA both going to around 85.

His incredibly huge problems with concetration from the past really destroyed his integrity in the world of football, but the guy is really, really good. A great leader and defender, also has shown incredible mental strenght to goes past some private problems (his wife fucked the woodsman from Croatia) and also some professional problems, mostly dealing with super high pressure and criticism.

Updated this wonderful defender. Does anyone have something in mind, what's overall opinion on update?

I would also drop the tw since that is definitely his weakest point. He can be a top CB for 85 minutes and have 5 minutes of being switched off from the rest of the team that ends up costing points. Rest of the set looks good though!

I wanna discuss Lovren's TW. I updated it on 78 then Stu lowered it on 70, which i respect, but i still see him that high, easily. Lovren is not the kind of defender that can't work really well as a whole with his teammates, in fact that's one of his main qualities in my eyes. He has occasional problems with concetration, ofcourse decisions, but the ability to hold the shape of D-line and his understanding of defensive unity, 66 was for me a nonsense, 70 still way too low in my eyes, but i wanna discuss it cause obviously it's not the common opinon around.
