news?

Attack: 76
Agility: 84
DS: 79
SPA: 72
SPS: 76
ST: 80
Aggression: 84
Mentality: 81

but something bothers me about in game Datolo... he shows up in the center even when he has Side* and his direction arrow isn't facing center. why is that?
i want him attached to the left and going forward when riquelme has the ball to receive his pass and then go to the goal line to throw a high cross or make a feint and turn for getting in the box to pass or shoot.

this could be due to the tactical arrows... i realized that sidemidfielders tend to move to the center if the sideback moves up... its more of a tactical issue because your rating seems fine
I'm against you

i thought the same. a regular boca's move is Morel having the ball from our box to midfield and there are two opportunities: Datolo (on the left side of the field running forward, or Riquelme more at the center (and almost allways the ball is for him from every position or every player. boca's gameplay is "pass it to Riquelme, and he will know what to do ;) then everyone else runs up"). in this example Datolo is the decoy taking a defender to the side down with him making room for other moves from other players

i want to add that the only tactical arrow i use for him is "forward" (like this -->)

I think FKA and LPA are over-rated. He never takes FKs on goal, and I never saw him do a FK goal. And in spite of usually taking cornes or crosses, he ain't very accurate at them.

FKA: 74
LPA: 76-77

agree with the changes proposed by fds123

for example, the third goal yesterday was a Datolo's asistance. he crossed the ball with his left foot to Figueroa.

and about FKA, i let u to think again after watching this video :)
http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=7UTsdikmDws

PS: watch specially at 1:51 minute XD
PLEASE watch the whole thing. there are at least 15 super nice crosses, tonz of dribbles, a big bunch of FK (that will make u alucinate :P) and a cuple of goals too, ah i forgot an olympic goal try and a right foot cross (which ended in goal). this vid is only about Banfield times. i will search more vids, and more recent ones (from Boca's times). i do remeber a lot of good crosses. but not so much FK (for obvious reasons)

Dátolo was a totally different player in Banfield, he was really better and more regular... (That is a video at least, from 2,5 years ago)

He sometimes makes very good crosses, but the most of them are not accurate (Specially in corner kicks).

But to compensate

FKA: 76
LPA: 78

Teamwork needs to go down imo. He can be a very selfish player and his passing is appalling sometimes.

I'd say 73 at least which would put him one point under Robben.

I don't agree. TW is not the grade of "selfishness" of a player (And now way he is more selfish than Robben!), its how well he can connect with his team mates.

I retire my suggestion of decreasing his LPA. Now I see that his low consistency would do what I thought about his crosses.

But I still think that his FKA should be drecreased.

I suggest to increase a little Long Pass stats.
I suggest Long Pass Acc to 82-83
Long Pass Speed to 81
SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH.

Please do!!! He had moments in his 1st match, and played sort of a AMF/CMF role filling in for Hamsik. You can tell he has real quality on set pieces, but really wasn't on in that match. I'll have more details later ;)

he is a very (VERY) good player to watch. is creative, smart, and he has high technique/quality. his best position is as SMF on the left side, but a long time ago in boca he played some matchs as a sort of AMF.
"Datolo, burn the side strip" (or something like that) is the name of his song :)
he do walls to penetrate the box sometimes and then make the last pass. but mainly he gets the ball on the left and runs (not so fast, TS is not his best skill), then 1 or 2 defenders comes up and he tries to dodge them. a lot of times he can do that, reach the end line, turn right into the box, going back a little and passing to finish with a goal. you cant find a lot of vids in youtube but some of this can be seen.
he also helps a lot with defense. but sometimes he goes back a little slow, specially if the ball is on the other side or more in the centre. but lately he showed up a lot of mentality running back, filling spaces, chasing the ball at anyones feets. he steals the ball well placing his body or with good slidings.
he doesnt score a lot, but he do sometimes. as the last time, with 2 goals saying good bye to Boca.
good dribbler, almost average runner, delicious turns to evade defenders, fighter with the ball, good long passer with his left foot. and im sure he has a lot of more things that describes him.
askme whatever you want, i dont know what else to say about him now.

im pretty sure lucas2491 remember a lot of things about him too and his opinion will help in here :)
