I'm going to post some videos and statistics and they'll tell you why I disagree with your set.

I think he needs a little tweaking. His free kick accuracy should definitely be higher.His technique also more than 80 he has a excellent first touch. His primary position is *AMF and he can also play as a SMF on both sides. He has played on both flanks for Reading and Iceland U-21 and the national team.

Great goal today from a free kick wich you can see here http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/gylfi-sigurdsson-mainz-4573139/

I think ST could maybe come up to 80, some of the goals he has scored over the past year definitely warrant that. Attack could perhaps also come up as well, he's got a good knack of finding hmself in the right place at the right time, 76-77 would be a good value imo.

I'm not exaggerating when saying that when Pirlo, Beckham and Del Piero call it quits you will only able to count players with one hand who are better than him at taking free kicks. He's one of the most gifted set pieces takers I've seen. Indirect free kicks, direct free kicks, corners and penalties. He's awesome at every single on of them.

I´m with Paddy all of his long balls are dangerous. I see him better in all of his Long passing abilites, also at FKA and at curl.

Also I´d raise his attack, cause he has a good eye for the space. move in the back of the defender, be playable.

And I can`t see that he loose so much speed when he runs with the ball.

I think he plays as a SS most often for Hoffenheim in their 4-3-3 lineup. Also his main position should be AMF. I agree with the shot technique raise and I think his agility could go up by 3 points along with his technique going up by 2 points. In the near future I think his FKA will be raised even further. I'm thinking shot power and response could go up by 1 or 2 points too. He's an excellent player who'll only get better.

Anyway my suggestions are as follows:
Res: +2
Agi: +3
DA: +1
LPA: +2
SA: +1
SP: +2
ST: +2
Tec: +2
Ment: +2
TW: +1

*Middle shooting

Please discuss :)

So first of all, Hoffenheim did not use a 4-3-3 anymore, since Sigurdsson is in the starting lineup. And if they use a 4-3-3 they play with a DM and two CMs - So the postion discussion is done. In the 4-4-2 Sigurdsson was used on the wing the last macthes.

about the stats - I´ve given him an update today. a small one - which values are updated you cann see at the update thread.

Honestly, he's fantastic at both free-kicks and long-range shots. Don't you think he deserves more in FK Accuracy and SA?

Here's what I propose:
Free Kick Accuracy: 83 --> 86
Shot Accuracy: 76 --> 84

He's already training with The Swans.

swanseacity.net wrote:New signing Gylfi Sigurdsson insists his move to the Swans will help him fulfil his dream of playing in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has joined the Swans on loan from German outfit Hoffenheim for the rest of the season, and is hopeful of making his debut in Saturday's FA Cup clash at Barnsley.

Following the third-round tie, the Swans then host Arsenal in the Premier League.

And Sigurdsson, who spent a successful stint in the Championship at Reading where he also played under Brendan Rodgers, is relishing his opportunity of mixing it in the best league in world football.
