I am watching Samp games but i'm focused on our attacking play.In defence we have an excellent Castellazi this year, but i'll post on his topic.Agree about mentality not sure about sliding though.

I noticed when he subbed in vs Genoa, he was the only defender in that whole match that could defend Milito 1v1. So maybe his Def should be a bit higher than response. He was very solid in positioning himself, unlike Lucchini. But Lucchini IMO should have a much higher ment, and probably higher res.

SOunds reasonable. Although I often confuse the two players for some reason. I'll keep an eye out this weekend before making updates.

78 mentality was after a raise? In the match vs Catania, he got his shirt ripped off and kept playing. Then in the 90+ min he had two scoring attempts, 1st was saved on header, and the 2nd he bravely went in knocked heads, but scored the goal.

Just my notes, and surprised to only see 78ment.

Lucchini is currently at 83 ment...so I think there should probably be at least a 2 point difference

I think that after watching a lot of Samp matches and watching all the extended highlights , i can tell that there is no communication between the defenders(Rossi,Luchini,Gastadello).Luchini and Gastadello maybe be stronger than their current values, and Gastadello maybe little faster, but i think their TW and RES values should be lowered.I can count many times that offside trap was beaten and also foolish mistakes between them.Dont be fooled from our great start or that in some matches we conced 0 or 1 goals. That was clearly beacuse of Castellazi who is just an excellent GK and for me one of the best in Serie A the last 2 seasons.I think that they are average-good players on 1-1 situations.
What i wrote was mainly for Luchini and Gastadello...
Suggestions are -2 RES and TW both and -1 for Rossi.I can also discuss Balance after we change,or not, the other values...

you make a good arguement. You sure it has nothing to do with their lack of defensive *'s like marking or covering?

Yeah i forgot covering.Covering is a key fact in Samp's defence.I don't think their marking abilities are so bad at all.But tbh i'm not sure which stats have to be changed exactly.I just described the situation...

Udinese game today showed once again the defencive problems that Samp has.But i noticed once agaian that Gastadello is the hard working defender there and although he does make mistakes he is trying very hard for the team and some times covering his teammates. His BB is great i can tell.Of course my previous suggestions are still there for discussion...
MEN:84 is my proposal...

So we should change their MENT values.Gastaldello's should be 83-84 and Luchini's 81...Still waiting thoughts on my first post about Samp defenders.

sorry man but no one's watching Samp anymore  :D From what I remember, Lucchini was the more the tigerish of the two, and Gastaldello more composed and assured, more in control lets say. BUt I'm going from memory here. I also think his TW is ok, its Lucchini who makes the mistakes at the back. Lucchini TW could be @ 77 and then Gastaldello's @ 80. Thoughts?
