Yeah, definitely time for an update. So I'll implement Messias' set with royvd's shooting stats, TECH 83 and CMF as a secondary position? :)

Updated.

What do you think about his Att/Def awareness and Consistency by the way? I know no one cares about Consistency anymore, but I like to keep it for fellow old-gen PES players. :)

And I'm of course looking forward to your opinions on David Degen. You're a great contributor for the Swiss teams, the only one who keeps them updated in fact... ;)

Thanks for the support.
About his Awareness, it looks like OFF to me. He tracks back and helps in defense at times, but that's not his main priority.
For Consistency I'd give him 6; he's a fairly consistent player since the start of this season.
BTW, I sent a PM to Dos regarding the situation of his hometown club (Xamax) and he's OK despite the bankrupcy of the club. He also commented he's going to return to PSD on a regular basis, sooner than later. Those are really good news!! 8-)

Thanks, updated Consistency and Awareness.

As for the possible return of Dos, that would be great indeed! Quality members are always needed. :)

It's a pleasure to work with you, too. We will really need your help if PSD decides to switch to the 'Konami way' of rating players - all the sets would in fact have to be remade or heavily changed. ;)

Also, thanks for the transfer info but as it's not 100% yet (and as the season isn't over yet either) I'm gonna wait before moving him.

Actually he needs to be evaluated in terms of RES and MEN.
He doesn't really need green values for RES really (73 seems fair enough).
Same applies for MEN (not further 74).
At least for Basel he became from an average winger into an influential *Playmaker.
There he also showed some features of a []Talisman; I mean, whenever he had the ball on his feet,
almost the whole team went forward to attack.
I don't know if he will keep this style at Mönchengladbach, so I'll keep an eye on him either at Champions League or Europa League
(the latter being the most probable scenario).

From what I saw I thought the same. About RES i´m not sure because add Gladbach I think he will play mostly more as a CMF. And than 73 would be really low maybe around 75-76. Playmaking seams fair for me about Talisman we have to wait how he will etablish in Gladbach.

He is playing a more conservative role than in Basel - As CMF next to Nordveit, trying to fill Neustädter departure but with a more attack mind, better and more wide play creation.

I agree with you, after about 10 matches I now saw of him for Gladbach I have to say I am a bit disappointed of his psyche, mentally he often seems to be distracted or coltish yet I cannot accuse him of burying his head in the sand when facing disadvantages. Defensively he makes many mistakes and sometimes seems too lazy to do defensive work at all. But what really makes me angry is that he loses so fucking many balls because of mostly 2 reasons, A) he overestimates himself (or underestimates his enemies, don't know what's worse :evil: ) trying to out-dribble an opponent or B) he's distracted from I-don't-know-what and just lets himself getting dispossessed or playing a careless pass resulting in a counter attack for the other team.
It really is a shame since he's got so much talent and could be a very good playmaker. He is, in fact, able to play quality passes but his head isn't in the game too often.

I see some changes for him, suggestions are welcome but first of all I think RES 73 like MaxPower proposed and a much lower MENT like 72-74 are necessary. Sure he still has to acclimate himself to the Bundesliga so we shouldn't make too much changes but I feel these two are essential for Xhaka.

Agree with lower RES (73) and Mentality can be lower than 72 imo-

Mentality is hard to rate, it's not that he stops fighting when they are behind in a match but the whole distraction thing, what number do you suggest?

Lower than Ring :D :lol: - Probably, the 72 can be good or a value near to it.

Again such a shameful performance from him. If I'd be allowed to punch him in the face for every time he causes a loss of the ball he would look like this:

time for an update

DEF 58 -> 52 ... one of the reasons why he sits on the bench is that he sucks at defending.
DA 80 -> 82 ... fine dribbler but loses to many balls
SPA 78 -> 81 ... is able to show very good passing
SPS 80 -> 72 ... but many of them get intercepted because he's careless and lacks concentration, so -> major gap
LPA 78 -> 79 ... slightly improved
LPS 78 -> 80 ... crosses have good speed
PK 66 -> 71 ... performed some long FK's, nothing special
SW 72 -> 74 ... but with a nice curl
RES 76 -> 74 ... so slow thinking and not into the game by times
EP 83 -> 82 ... could be even lower, don't see him that explosive
DS 83 -> 81 ... never saw him dribble with such speed
TS 83 -> 81 ... he's not that fast
BB 75 -> 77 ... improved a little
STA 85 -> 82 ... can't see where this high value came from
TEN 74 -> 72 ... suffers from his bad mentality
TW 80 -> 74 ... doing dirty work is not for him

As he presented himself during this season so far he isn't nearly worth the 8.5 Mio Euros that Gladbach paid for him.

Agree with everything. Probably his Curl can be higher mid greens and his EP at 81. Is more his good with ball at his feet than fresh body movements. Finally I will rate him a bit harsh in mentality as Arnoutovic for example.
