He has been playing really hard and I feel that he deserves an update in mentality and stamina.

Reasons:
-He is Vasco da Gama captain, and he is really working hard for the team and he is being the leader that we hope he would be.

-He receives a lot of yellow cards, some for being stupid and some for "excessive will", I mean he is always pressing the defense and because of this he makes lots of fouls. (Botafogo couldn't pass the midfield untill vasco scored the first goal.)

-He played 7 complete matches, missed 1 because of the third yellow card, played 64 minutes against fluminense after he was tatical subbed, 63 minutes against Cabofriense and them subbed after the 3 points were sure.

-He fights untill the end in all matches, we can see that he is tired in the end, but he lasts a lot in that rhythm.

Actually the deal is untill July 2, if I am not mistaken, but...

“They know I won't leave Brazil now. My woman is pregnant, it is going to be my first son and I want to be close. I hope they understand my situation"

"I can't see my out of here. I demand my desire be respected. The player acts where he wants and nobody will threaten me with a gun so that I will play where I don't want"

"I have spoken more than 500 times: my woman is pregnant and the baby will be born in Brazil. It doesn't make sense me going back to Europe this moment. I am super-happy in Vasco, where I have a collection of friends"

CA isn't a center neither a side player. He is pretty free, he can go to the side, to SS, to the center depending on the positioning of the other team. Outside is an ability that is difficult to tell as he prefers to do simple (and effective) plays.

Also I am considering a raise in injury tolerance because he suffers "massive damage" every game and is not commonly injured. I will let he play some more months before suggesting it but he suffers fouls everytime he is near the ball.

---
Pedala, I don't know why you hate his way of playing. He helps the team in marking, he in the leader the team needs, he knows where the mates are, he scores the penalties he is the most clinical finisher in the midfield I have seen in a long time. Also he is experienced with great technical abilities and he makes the most simple and effective plays. He doesn't make unnecessary dribbles, he doesn't hit the ball too hard, just positions it out of the GKs reach.

His only problem are the referees and the STJD. He was expelled and got 4 games of suspension after falling over a guy who was couter-attacking because he (CA) was hit in the face by his (the opponent) elbow. Also he was expelled against Flamengo because he didn't stop after the whistle (he didn't hear it) and loads of yellow cards because of complaints

Well, I have to assume that I don't saw Carlos Alberto for a long time... But, I think here I'll have your agreement: in his younger times, he was the typical stupid player... I mean, instead of pass the ball to the teammate in better conditions, he used to prefer to make the dribble. He used to think that have a good performance was better than see his team winning... And he reflected this in field: always making unnecessary dribbles, even when he had a mate in better position than him, well, don't matter. But, nowadays, I don't saw he playing more, but I'm hearing good thinks about his football. He's young, he can be a really good player in the future if he wants.

He was 19 at Porto, that's were i remeber him and after that i haven't seen him play. But backthen he was far from being a smart player, u could tell he was very gifted, but well, most brazilians are ... His problem was really in his head, as he was not very consistent, not a teamworker and i think he already liked to shout at the refs and adversaries, but i'm not shure about that.
Mourinho played him in the left sideline i think, that's why i was thinking about side and outside (being right and playing on the left he had more chances to pass the ball with the outside of the foot)

Yeah, in europe you have SMF and WF...what in Brasil we don't really have. Sometimes the forward goes to the side to counter-attack but we have some tentency of cutting inside. Probably because of the highly offensive minded sidebacks.

I think that he took a lot of time but he got mature. He knows the responsability of being the captain of the team that have a difficult mission this year, and also he have been very consistent, his problems are the referees. And actually the whole team is pretty mature even though there are a lot of boys, merit of the captain example and the excellent coach.

I agree because he knows how to do it pretty well, even though he doesn't do it so constantly. Also Weak Foot at least 6 for both.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qktSVxScPEA, he scored the last goal.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYi6Mi-UA6M, scored the first one.
