This is the most used line-up:

Agirretxe and Vela change their position sometimes. The same with Carlos Vela and Xabi Prieto.

Aranburu / Zurutuza.

Do you think Griezmann doesn't play so often 'cause he was so close to leave the club this summer or there's any other reason behind?

I don't think that. It's simple. He played the last U-20 World Championship and he wasn't in the preseason with Real Sociedad.
He'll be a definitive starter in the next match, I'm sure. I think he'll play against Athletic Club tomorrow.

It's a pleasure, Mr. Fixer :)

Montannier makes a lot of changes in the offensive line. Real Sociedad plays with Imanol Agirretxe as CF in Anoeta but with Carlos Vela in the rest of matches. At home he prefers the strength of Agirretxe. Carlos Vela is the choosen one when Real Sociedad needs to play fast in the quick counters.

Don't really agree with formation 1. As far as I've seen, Sociedad under Montanier always (or almost always) play a starting lineup of 4-2-3-1. In fact, in theory, Xabi Prieto would be the starting AMF with Vela as RMF and Griezmann as LMF. Sometimes Vela is deployed as CF instead of Agirretxe, then Xabi Prieto can play as RMF (his most natural role) and Zurutuza fills in as AMF. But the formation stays the same.

I tried to adapt Imanol Alguacil formation and tactics for PES 2017:

First of all, i'm using a fluid formation:

Kick-off formation:
Spoiler: show
Image

When in possession:
Spoiler: show
Image

When out of possession:
Spoiler: show
Image

Attacking Instructions:
Attacking Styles: Possession Game
Build Up: Short Pass
Attacking Area: Wide
Positioning: Flexible
Support Range: II

Defensive Instructions:
Defensive Styles: Frontline Pressure
Containment Area: Wide
Pressuring: Conservative
Defensive Line: IIIIII
Compactness: IIIII

I also attributed playing styles to some players to give more realism:
Martin Ødegaard - Classic Number 10: will limit his runs, save his energy and make more passes and touches;
Portu - Hole Player : he makes a lot of runs towards the goal, use him as a smf/amf to trigger in pes 17;
Igor Zubeldia - Anchor Man: already has the card in his PES 2013 set, makes him not go up high in the pitch and protect the center backs;

Capitain: Illarramendi (Capitain)/Mikel Oyarzbal (Vice-captain), David Zurutuza (3rd Capitain)
Short FK Taker: Mikel Oyarzabal
FK Taker 2: Martin Ødegaard
Long FK Taker: Martin Ødegaard
Left CK Taker: Martin Ødegaard
Right CK Taker: Martin Ødegaard
PK Taker: Mikel Oyarzabal
Players to Join Attack: Mikel Merino /Willian José /Diego Llorente
