Our principal estrategy is shoot the ball as far as possible and pray for Agüero, Forlán or Simao to get it :D . However the last 10 games or so we are even playing good. (For example, five matches ago we were 9 points away with the fourth place and now we are just two points of it.

Thats the way I posted and later edited the last post, because I'm triying to tell about our system and strategy, but its really hard to mention because normaly we just play for our ''starts'' (Agüero, Forlan, Simao, Maxi). Maybe I should say about the counter attack that is better and faster with the practice.

How do you see Atletico lining up this season?

I probably watched about 20 of their games on television last season, but I am sure that somebody with much greater knowledge can provide a better indication than I...

Here's my idea anyhow...

-----------Asenjo
-----Ujfalusi Juanito
Perea Lopez
------Garcia Assuncao
---Maxi Simao
------Aguero Forlan

Abel's idea is this

---------Asenjo

Ujfalusi-Heitinga-Juanito-López

----Raúl García-Assunçao

Maxi-------------------Simao

----Agüero------Forlán

Mine would be basically the same, but switching Ujfalusi and Heitinga, and perea instead of Juanito. anyway we need a creative midfielder badly...

Any Madrid fans able to help with a updated formation ect??

According to the above, they play a 4-5-1. Or i'm just guessing that was just because it was Chelsea? Or was Reyes a 2nd striker?

They change the coach recently, so we have to wait a bit more to find the definitive formation

Atletico played against Chelsea with a 4-4-2, which is the default system. If Forlán or Agüero can't play, then it may switch it to a 4-5-1, but this is strange.

Against chelsea we played like this

---------Asenjo
Perea-Pablo-Juanito-A. López
----Assunçao-Cléber
Reyes-------------Simao
------Sinama-Forlán

New formation of Atletico Madrid in the 2009/2010 season to date, following the outbreak stellar De Gea caught him a website to Asenjo and the good form going through Reyes and Simao for both bands, we must also highlight the regularity Alvaro Dominguez's youth squad that Juanito has left without any choice to take over a position in the center of defense, the signing of Tiago has given the order and test equipment in the midfield, the perfect complement to Assunçao.

I'd change the attack arrows of the sides, as Reyes appears in the middle more often than Simao, who rarely lefts the side. And reyes should have the defence arrow to the top, he has been tracking back a lot, and initiating game from his own field.
