Based on the stats. I really don't understand why Cedric Soares got loaned out and not this guy. He is talented but, doesn't deserve it more then Cedric to be in the squad.

Cédric probably needs a tweak by now. He is a bit overrated in some areas.

We haven't seen Cedric play that much, in the first team, that's the problem.
Maybe he's DA and TS is overrated, AGI could come down a point or 2. But anything else is just a guess.

Arias, is faster more agile and a bit more AGG. His DEF is also higher, both DEF/ATT pretty good. And last but not least, LPA and LPS is better.

His defense must be improved.

I admit I didn't watch him since moved to Sporting - but his defense aswell as his body balance were the highlight of his game - he's just very very solid defensively, tactically aware, has great balance, stays on his feet and his quick enough to do so.

Gave Neymar a really really hard time when he took him on in the U-20 Sudamericano.

Very underrated fullback btw, in a world where fullbacks who know actually know how to defend are very rare - not to mention ones that are kinda fast and also know how to support the offense when needed - he's just a very very solid player who i'm positive will reach a high level club eventually.

Italia in specific fits his game to the inch in my opinion.

Agree with all, he will get an update soon.

Has he played CB for Colombia? I've never seen him play there for Sporting, and he doesn't look like he fits there.

Although that information sounds correct, I wouldn't use any info from Sporting's website for now. It's not updated by the club, it's updated by na outside source which is very prone to mistakes. Take Eric Dier for example, is listed as 1.88m tall when he's clearly 1.92~1.93m.

I heard that the situation will change soon, but for now the website works that way.

In his first match he seemed pretty average. His ball control/trapping/first touch was definitely not on 80-level yesterday:o

Looks like a promising set indeed. If he's overrated, then he's definitely not the first new foreign player that appears in the Eredivisie section that has this issue.... But let's give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

Maybe its a bit naive, but if he was this good, I am sure that Sporting would have given him more minutes in the first team right? This set makes him quite an amazing talent.

Yeah, when I moved this set I wondered what you or mcmatties' response would be. This set is best described as wishful thinking.

I also cant imagine using somebody with such a tiny frame as a CB.

He never played as CB indeed. Dont know why its added, my bad. But trust me when i say, this kid is a very good prospect. I have no idea why Sporting let him go.

He had a difficult time yesterday, especially defensively.
