Greece's performance was a total joke... I really don't know what got to them as they surely could do much better.

Bad lineup choices either as in the players just can't don't fit the position they are played in (Charisteas at RW, Torosidis at LB, Salpigidis LW yesterday!), players not in form or 100% fit (Katsouranis all 2nd half of season, Seitaridis all season with injuries and around 10 games total).

Also leaving Kyrgiakos out was a joke.. Vintra had a good season but is also known to do mistakes under pressure. Ninis wont get played by Otto so he took out an AMF (even if he was playing more like a CMF, he still has offensive ability) and put in a DMF (Patsatsoglou) which sealed thing right there... And its a ongoing problem with Otto... He doesn't like to call up (and use not like Prittas) new players to the NT even if that means he doesn't have cover in some positions... At Korea match we had one sub that could play AMF/SMF (Ninis) , one Striker that can play WF (Salpi) and a CF (Kapetanos).
And part number two of that problem is that some players walk around the pitch confident that they 'll start next game..

Frankly I cant see a chance of improving in this WC.. Otto won't change in 4 days, he will still play the same team or make things worse somehow.. I just hope that we get a new coach post WC for Euro Qualifications but I am very very afraid that the FA will keep him...

You see? When Charisteas isn't playing, Greece can SCORE!!! xD I think Ninis should play with Gekas and Salpingidis in attack.

Well Charisteas is worse than playing with ten men so I don't understand why everybody makes such a deal of Nigeria being 10 men... we played Korea with Charisteas on!

Looking forward to see a new Greece with formation copied from Spain > 4-4-2 diamond or alternative 4-3-2 without strict marking and with zone defence. Just read it in the news that new coach Fernando Santos is promoting this new style... ;)

I gave an update to first post, but I still have some doubts: are Charisteas and Patsatzoglou out of team? And if yes, who are their replacements?

you can replace G.Fotakis (PAOK) instead of Patsa and Tziolis (serious injury) with G.Makos
Also i dont think Charisteas will have a lot of chances you can replace him with Lazaros Christodoulopoulos (in very good form this season)

Sounds good, but I'm unsure about Tziolis, he's out six months but he's a regular member and he even started twice in EURO Qualifies, I think it will be unfair to remove him.

Players called to play against Malta and Poland:
Goalkeepers: Alexandros Tzorvas (Panathinaikos) and Costas Chalkias (PAOK)

Defenders Avraam Papadopoulos, Vassilis Torosidis (both Olympiakos), Loukas Vintra (Panathinaikos), Giorgos Tzavellas (Eintracht Frankfurt), Vangelis Moras (Bologna) and Sokratis Papastathopoulos (Milan)

Midfielders Costas Katsouranis, Giorgos Karagounis, Sotiris Ninis (all Panathinaikos), Yiannis Fetfatzidis (Olympiakos), Panayiotis Lagos, Pantelis Kafes (both AEK) and Panayiotis Kone (Brescia)

Forwards Giorgos Samaras (Celtic), Costas Mitroglou (Panionios), Nikos Liberopoulos (AEK) and Dimitris Salpigidis (PAOK)

Spyropoulos, Sifakis and Tziolis are missing due to injury. Liberopoulos is definitely back in the team after the retirement, also Lagos was recalled after a long time. I made two swaps: Liberopoulos-Charisteas and Kone-Patsatzoglu, and Torosidis was added to the formation as RB.
