During his time at Arsenal he was employed as left back. He certainly fits a midfield role though as he has very little idea of how to defend compared to the EPL's other left backs. Which raises the question: Does he really deserve 65 Defence? Or is that too much of an insult to Blue Square Premier league players?

He's primarily a SB* but he's being converted to a SMF* by Wenger, similarly with Gibbs who is primarily a winger he's being swapped into a SB* role... I don't question Arsene though as both seem quite comfortable in their positions.

So about the defence stat what are we saying, 62/63?

Before he went to loan to Portmouth, he told, that he now left midfilder. Then he played on left midfield always in Portshmouth. You can check up it.

Remember I was saying about my ranges in defence... He'd be one of the lowest figures... Lower than I'd have Belhadj ;)

He's already lower than Belhadj, and he does not deserve to be lowered... yet..

That mean if Traore is to be lowered more than Belhadj then both of them will be worse than Rafael in Defence ??!! Madness !!!

Em well, yeah worse than Rafael... Considering both Armand and Belhadj have a considerably higher response value. And I have Rafael at 58 for defence.

he needs updates in technique and balance!

77 in balance is a joke! he is a real powerhouse! 82-83 at least.. just look at the pitcure and you can se how strong he is ;)

and he deserves a better technique. he has a great touch and is a good dribbler. AT LEAST 80 imo.

Nice game of him today, he stood safe in the defence, didn't make too many mistakes and opened the second goal for Arsenal with a fantastic cross over the whole pitch.

Definately needs an update in balance and weight. Most sites have him at 82kg. He must be as thin as a stick at 185 and 67 kg :)

Balance I'd have him around 80, he's no weaker than Bale, Finnan or Aquilani. Has filled in well for Clichy and Gibbs, his main advantage over these 2 is his physical size. He doesn't lack the pace of Clichy and Gibbs, I'd say his attacking play is at least on par. Could become a very good LB if he can continue to make progress on his defending.

He needs to be upgraded as arsene wenger has lately admitted that he is the 3rd fastest player at arsenal behind walcott and vela and that he is actually way quicker over long distances wich would indicate that he is quicker than clichy in top speed but not in acceleration.

So i would say he is in 90 for acceleration but around 92 for top speed.

I remember against villa ashley young couldn't outpace him and i saw him outpace downing who had started running way before him and get to the ball first.

He is quicker than gibbs and i think clichy an him are neck to neck as one has a bigger acceleration whereas the other gets quicker as they hit their top speed.

Even shaun wright philips had trouble outpace him and we all know shaun has an unbelievable acceleration.

I could agree with raising weight, he's obviously not 67kg, but I couldn't comment on balance personally..

I've proposed to have it lower than my set for Belhadj which has Belly at a 57, so I guess a 56 wouldn't go amiss, it'd also create mass hysteria as he'd be the lowest rated SB on the forum.
