I understand your point. IMO it wouldnt be a bad idea to put J.Pereira as RMF and Carriço RB. in a 4-4-2 formation. But this would have been more useful last season. Putting Pereira as RMF would allow him to make more unpredictable moves.

I think he's perfect has an attacking SB, but having both SBs bombing forward is not a good idea, especially if not playing double pivot. Andre Santos, who does a great defensive job by pressuring high and permanently, also bombs forward too much to be a reliable coverer for the SBs, the only reliable DMF (Rinaudo) can't cover for both SBs.

Yes i agree,
but having both SBs bombing forward is not a good idea, especially if not playing double pivot
with this.

I do think that Insua isnt such a full back. I already posted at Insua's thread that he is a pretty well balanced full back. I was a bit sceptical first at the signing, but for now he has done a pretty good job. He is much better at choosing he's moments to get forward then Evaldo and also more effective. Also i feel that he gets back at time, most of the time.

I didn't suggest it yet, but what do you think about giving him early cross and raising he's LP values?

I was thinking about Evaldo when i mentioned the two SBs bombimg forward, but i can't say anything yet about Insua... actually i fell asleep last match and i couldn't see any of the goals, i saw it from 10 to 20 mins and then from maybe 70 till the end.

Yes i know, i was just mentioning.

BTW: looking ate he's DA, shouldnt it be higher :? , i mean.. we just discussed that he's dribbles are pretty good. It should be atleast 82 dont you agree? And Ds is also good. And AGG isnt 83 low? He comes up all the time, literally.

Sorry JMVP for double posting but im doing it so that my message is seen, if you react to it ill edit it.

First of all i want to suggest to raise J.Pereira's STA to 89, i think he runs more then A.Pereira. Alvaro Pereira runs a lot but then again crosses a lot too. J.Pereira is far more influential with ATT movement and dribbles a lot more as well. I think the stuff that J.Pereira does will cause more fatigue. So i think 89 or even 90 for STA wouldnt be a bad idea. And what is the criteria for the diffrence between condition 7 or 8?

I also mentioned his DA, i think we really need to consider J.Pereira a SM in this area. Because ofcourse for SB 81 is pretty high. But for a SM it isnt while he clearly dribbles a lot better then a lot of SM in Portugal. I think 82 should be the minimum for J.Pereira.

Another thing i would like to mention is his height. According to ESPN Stats he is 1.72, while i believe this isnt really a trustful fact or whatever. But i ran into an old newspaper of Record. Claiming J.Pereira was 164cm at the age of 19. People generally grow untill there 21/22? Maybe 23. And now he is rated 173. So he grow 9cm in maybe 3 years? Thats a lot isnt it..So maybe he is even smaller more like 168-170.

Newspaper

Another thing i would like to mention is that João has a great dribble for a SB (probably because he was a WF in the youth). But i believe we could raise his DA to 83 and DS to 85. Do you agree?

Yes, he probably is going to join Valencia. This rumor has been going on for some time. Much better option then Van der Wiel for Valencia imo (quality and price). 5M is a bargain for J.Pereira imo.

Yeah very true, i always liked this player, he'll certainly be a great addition for us at a spot we need badely a great player in, we don't have a good RB, Miguel is shit, bruno is..well...shit² and Barragan has the potential to be a very decent RB, he just needs some time and expereince.

Hope he does really well for Valencia. From what I saw, he is a good player, able to succeed in Mestalla. Do you guys think he is good enough in defense to succeed in a top team? For the offensive part, I dont have any doubts.

Valencia will pay just 3.6 M for this player. Hope it ends up being a bargain for Valencia CF!

€ 3.684.210 + € 526.320 (= depending on how Valencia play in the CL). So transfer can go up to 4.2M, still very cheap though. Sporting should have asked the 7.5M clausule.
