I wasn't sure about certain values, but next time I check after some games. ;)
He's a quite tricky player for his build, but should improve his understanding with the others.

I think his technique is maybe overrated, 76 would be enough for now

Was watching his game against Hoffenheim, he did a great match, technically he seemed better than this, besides his shots (especially shot technique) seemed a lot better than this, his connections are always clean.

the last games he played very well. He gets more and more important for Freiburg. He is quite fast, plays good passes and is dangerous in front of the goal. I hope he can improve more.

again, some suggestions:

DEF 46 -> 58 ...like the whole Freiburg team he does a lot to help out the defense and plays a good roll in their system when the opponent is in possession. Also likes to tackle.
HEA 65 -> 73 ...he's not Miro Klose but stil able to place the ball somewhat accurately with his head. In fact he wins quite a few headers per match.
DA 81 -> 84 ...skilled dribbler, not only fast but also hard to get off the ball, shows no amazing tricks but keeps the ball close to his feet and often gets behind enemy players.
SPS 76 -> 73 ...he's a short passer only, no crosses, no long passes. Lower value to mirror this behaviour.
PK 70 -> 74 ...takes corners sometimes, also somewhat skilled at executing set pieces at all.

JUM 72 -> 77 ...as I said above he often wins aerial challenges so greens seem to be appropriete.

ATT aw 2 -> 3 ...more attacking than 2, scores quite often.
DEF aw 1 -> 2 ...does a lot of defensive work, always tracking back, 2 is minimum.

*S06 - Long Range Drive ...nice tricky long shooting.

I forgot to suggest adding Incisive Run card for him, he always plays on the left wing despite him being right footed (his left one is absolute shit), he tends to cut in the middle and shoot from wide.

Played a great saison. Also as a lot of the players of Wolfsburg he need a lot of tweaks.

changed his nationality back to German, because despite being called up by Italy, he was then again dropped and did not play for Italy NT yet.

Until the end of last year, he was really struggling with injuries and fitness. His move to Schalke was like a rebirth for his career, despite not playing all matches. The fact that Schalke was recently competing at both Bundesliga and Europa League (until quarter finals) gave him more chances to play more regular first team player.

He doesn't look this fast nor agile anymore (specially regarding TS). He still displays some nice workrrate overal. He's doesn't overdribble anymore at Schalke, spending some energy with a few diagonal, off the ball movements into the box.

Anyway, he's adapted smoothly as a RWB/RMF hybrid, putting some pressure for that spot.

Moreover, I think Caligiuri has the potential to play as an competent attacking RB if trained and guided properly. It wouldn't be a crazy idea imo.

He's been doing greatly this season. He mostly plays as a WF, but he's behaving as a sort of a allrounder down his flank. As I commented before, he doesn't have a blistering pace as in the past, but his determination and commitment to tactics are both priceless. Somewhat similar to Schöpf, but much more mature and stable.

His move from Wolfsburg to Schalke was eventually the best for him. Even prior to his injuries, he was already stuck and disencouraged within a loose squad in Wolfsburg.
