Don't we have a HSV formation thread?

Jarolim will be the captain again this season.

I guess for the moment from these players we just need Torun, (maybe) Schulz, Arslan and Rincon as the others are not playing for the 1st team at the moment if I am not wrong informed... ;)

HSV has been in a deep crisis as a whole football club for around 5 years. Reasons are quite obvious:

The administrative staff has run the club from failure to failure, season by season. Rotating managers, who remain at HSV for a complete season at most. Rather high average wages for a bunch of players who simply cannot meet with those standards of wages. They have not made significative profits via selling players lately. Also, most of the signings have rather mid-low profile, and the few big signings have been quite poor overall.

If HSV needs a huge overhaul, the very first step is to replace most of the current administrative staff. If they keep the same people in charge, the status of HSV of "(Bundesliga) Dinosaurs" will still be threatened each year. They already faced two Prom/Rel playoffs in the last 7 years (Greuther Fürth, Karlsruher), which they barely managed to win on aggregate.

HSV fans deserves better things. It is not only about the players nor the managers. Current HSV admins just cannot deal with proper planning. They should be humble enough to accept they just don't meet with the standards of a historically prestigious club like Hamburger, in order to give their place for fresh blood and ideas.

This is really a rotten club. Its story and tradition are getting in vain. Regardless of whether HSV keeps its top tier status, they seriously need an massive overhaul in their administrative staff. They tend to have 2 managers each season (at least), many players are underperforming for their high wages, yet the adm staff remains the same? C'mon, this is a shameful anomaly for a traditional German side.

Imo, HSV deserves to get relegated at last. They have to pay the price for keeping such greedy people with poor adm skills.
