Totally deserved,his close control is that good,if there are stats of Retsos to focus on right now is DA and Att,his potential for hold up play is one of the reasons he is so promising

He's going to sign with Leverkusen for 22M ! Great deal but it's a shame he's leaving, he's been making some nice progress defensively. He was great in both games against Rijeka and the 2 league games. The main thing i noticed was his decisiveness to make interceptions and he seemed very confident in his attempts in contrast to last year , more effective defending using his body as well. This same confidence translated into lots of rushed passes also.

Should we make a small update before sending him off so he's closer to what he's shown so far this season ?

Sounds reasonable taking into account he's just 19 and has room to develop. Other changes could be considered as well but I think it's too early at this point. For example he's comfortable enough with his feet, solid technique and ball retention, he has the potential to be a nice modern ball playing CB that plenty of teams have use of. I wouldn't touch off. sideback yet, we can't know how he's gonna be used for Bayer.

k, just to be clear for the German mods, this isn't extra frontman.

For example he's comfortable enough with his feet, solid technique and ball retention, he has the potential to be a nice modern ball playing CB that plenty of teams have use of.

You can see that potential with 77 DA for a 19 year old CB though. My only other consideration is his Ment. His tenacity is one of his best features, it's acompanied by the recklessness that's typical of players his age but based on what he's shown so far we could rate him a little higher in this aspect. 74 ? just below greens

Indeed 77 DA is considered a standout value for a 19 y.o. CB. Agree with ment, hadn't thought about it.

Nothing else from me, just a note for the future he has also been tested as a DM for 1-2 games and he did well, I wouldn't be surprised if he is used there again.
