Needs consistency 6, and a general update probably.....he's showing himself as a consistent decent keeper this season.

well, these stats aren't that old  If you think I did a shite job, then maybe I did. But he did look great today, and solid overall.

I'll fix consistency now.

My impressions of him

There are not many goalkeepers who have a so damn great positional sense . Sirigu has the talent to stand correctly in most situations, which often helps him, because his big problem is that he rarely catch balls. often this is the reason why the opponent get a second shot opportunity. He has good response but due to his outstanding positional play he is in the location in a short time two or three shots to ward off a row. furthermore, he is very agile. are quickly back on his legs.

a goalkeeper who just comes out in dangerous situations, but when he came out, it is very self-confident. he is rather on the line, its very communicative with the defensive players, his defensive organized well, has a good feeling to create the wall at freekicks.

good footballer, defenders could play a ball to him, he can handle it.

real nice jump (for example the free kick of Diego)

Probably we could make a slight ladder 'shifting'.....Putting Marchetti,Sirigu, and Mirante on the same DEF value it's probably wrong. IMO id put their respective DEF values in the order i called them, so first Marchetti, then Sirigu, and last Mirante.
All the guys just divided by one point. It's the only way i could force Sirigu up to an 85 DEF....cause maybe in this aspect he's really better than an 84 Mirante or an 84 Dida......but i can see Viviano near him.....then, Aggression could go up to a 59.
Agility to a 78-79,if we want to be conservative the first...79 could be with Curci,Viviano, and Dida, all 190+ Keepers..
And Jump to an 82,shifting up Marchetti to an 83.I could see defintly Sirigu one point lower than De Sanctis's jump and in par with Arthur(guy with a good leap too). Also i give a look at his Mentality and TW....cause he's really decent also in this aspect. he's good with foots and know how to deliver a pass, and cold-minded...something that we could,or maybe i will, address to his Mentality.

I wanna make some suggestions later. I need to watch the global ladder first.

@Zuo and Jason

my suggestions - the "problem" I see it to the global ladder, cause I´m nit so close to every GK of the serie A, so I use the compare global

so this is just out of my view, if it does not fit into your ladder system, I'm sorry

Defence: 86
I refer to the German goalkeeper. Adler and Lehmann are both on 87, which are truly outstanding in positionalgame. Sirigi is close to it, but it apparently lacks a bit that paving and internationally to prove. Maybe next season. Neuer is currently 86. I prefer further 85 because he takes some really stupid runs. But at this level is definitely a Sirigu.

Stamina: 69 (standard value)
Top Speed: 70
Acceleration: 71
Response: 85
(with aview to the global ladder. nice response. got the hands in the air quickly. save some difficuilt balls on the line, but results more of his positioning game)

Agility: 79 (damn agile for his size, there was a match (i think it was Juve) where he sve a shot from 6m and a few seconds later antoher one, cause he was back on his legs)

Dribble Accuracy: 52 (standard value)
Dribble Speed: 58 (standard value)
Short Pass Speed: 65 (standard value)
Long Pass Accuracy: 63 (standard value)
Long Pass Speed: 68 (standard value)
Jump: 82 (for his size an outstanding jumpp, like I said above watch his jump at the Diego freekick)
Technique: 52 (standard area - nice control)
Aggression: 60 (don´t come out so much, but if it`s needed he`s there)
Mentality: 78 (like I said above, when he comes out he`s very self-confident)
Keeper Skills: 80 (probably his weakest point - he can´t catch the ball)
Team Work: 78 (very communicate. very good coordination with the CBs)

i'm not sure all of the standards are the same in the Serie A. Like LPassing that you suggested would be well above average.

the standard values are the ones that Tom uses in the EPL and we in the Bundesliga. I think we should use it global, but every miod can decide it to his own. They're also not the most important.

But I think that my suggestions regarding his goalkeeper skills (defense, response, jump, agility, GK-Skills), represent him well.

I don't want to suggest anything, but s-cobar is right about his difficulty to catch balls. A clear example is when yesterday he punched a wide FK from more than 30 meters, it wasn't hard to block that ball and also the commentator was surprised

Yes, absolutely. He seemed to be Dida's brother yesterday

They look good to me, esp the keeper skills, and defence.

GK skills should be raised to 82-83.

Salvatore has done quite well this season, with the extra difficulty of playing in a team with a really weak defence. He has saved many points for Palermo in Serie A and Europa League, like last match in Firenze.

That is not a good reason to change his GK skills, there could be many other factors apart from handling, such as luck, communication with the defence, positioning, reflexes, and overall good team play. ;)
Handling is one of his weak points IMO. :)

Damn, I forgot my Set, but I´m still convince by it. I´ve just a different view on aggression and mentality, but I explained why I`ve in general a different view on that points, in the the mod section.
