that's just an example, what you have to do when making suggestions is look at how often he shows that. i.e. read this (a few posts up)

čale wrote:as for his pace, he's got this ratio as he mostly goes on short bursts of pace and rarely covers more ground at a higher/faster pace. for me, i've got him rated at 78/84 in my OF, just for the sole reason which i've already explained. he just shows his real pace rarely thus it's not good to give him something which he demonstrates quite rarely.

Well, his passing is quite accurate, I'd say.
And that pass showed that the boy is able to make more of these!

I'm merely speculating, but I assume at Bologna he doesn't have many opportunities to take a freekick with Diamanti there? It's just he's hit a couple of beauties so far at the Olympics including the one he scored against the UAE and I'm wondering whether his current rating is so because of what he actually shows, or because of a lack of opportunity to fully demonstrate his true ability like I mentioned.

Well then, if the last couple of Uruguay games are anything to go by, I reckon he's a lot better than a 73, he just doesn't get to show it a lot. Has he ever scored one for Bologna?

Appart of Jez is correctly saying about FKA, I'm really impressed about his long passing and his general vision of the game. He played kinda deep playmaker for some moments and he did it with class...always being adventorous and trying filtered passes, a shame Suárez and Cavani hadn't a good match to take advantage of them last game. I feel him with Lodeiro could give a lot to Uruguayan NT in the near future if he has more chances to play in Bologna.

cale, you moved him to the wrong club in the editor (it's Southampton, not Stoke)
:D
EDIT: I moved him for you, but unfortunately I can't change his number to 0 in the editor (there's a chance that he will keep n°10 at Soton though).
EDIT 2: He will wear n° 10 as he did at Bologna. ;)

He finally had a chance to play as a starter for The Saints and played fairly well. He could be the new Le Tissier at Southampton. :D

He's a great player I'd add, the through chip pass to Clyde was strangely overlooked by the commentators, who chose to laude a rather nice but not out of the ordinary control, but anyways it was a really nice technically advanced pass with perfect timing and accuracy. He positively affected both southampton goals with his attacking intelligence, I'm impressed by this guy, whom I'd actually thought was some seasoned veteran rather then a 21 year old

Interesting too that he possessess agile and sharp quick dribble control according to this set, haven't noticed much of that yet, will look closely next chance
If you don't put effort into your post, i won't put effort in my response.

great game against newcastle.few points:

he looks slower both off and on the ball currently than when he was playing in Uruguay.maybe because of his position change is the reason.also he looks more heavy, bulky and less agile.also he looks weak than his stature.

but what is nice to watch he has become a player with trickery in his feet. step-overs,roulette,side-stepping makes his play even better.he wasn't this trickery in his early days.

and he really was a threat against new-castle.good positioning, passing, link up and those tricks makes him a player to watch.waiting to see him against liverpool !
vamos arriba la celeste !

i know i was quite sure that before he left Bologna i gave him an update (even before the transfer) with my set, so someone must've updated him in the meantime...or it's me just being paranoid

anyways, this is the set i was referring to

(although, i was a bit conservative with his passing back then)

I'd remove Tactical Dribble and add 1-touch play instead. Currently he rarely holds up play and prefers to put short passes with his first touch. The marvelous assist to Clyde, which was against Aston Villa and that vinnie previously mentioned, is a good example of this.

I feel his TW needs to be in yellows as he is pretty much supportive and links up very well with his teammates, moreover he mainly prefers one touch passing play whether it be short or long, i'd kinda give him 1 touch play card. His passing game was fantastic against Norwich, looked very dangerous while passing and moving.
