Seriously, he's one of the most underrated players I've ever seen. His tactical intelligence and mental strength are really top tier level.
He had already been very important in the conquest of the rival Sao Paulo in the continental and world title of 2005, was called "man of the derbys" because it always marked goals against the local rivals of Corinthians.
In this 2012 Libertadores, he next to the Sheik was the main name of the conquest. Seriously it's absurd how much he is wise to always make the best choice and this is even more fantastic because he is not fast, not so strong, not agile, not absurdly high technically and yet was probably the best player in the team for several years.
I have rarely seen a player who knew how to use his attributes as well as individually as Danilo showed.

The "Mr. Libertadores" was extremely fundamental in the team. He was the most advanced player of the team but he was the main one for playmaking since it empties the tatical ole as a false nine, retreating to the middle of the field to connect a pass and appears floating in the area for finalization or even making the pivot very close to the line midfield for counter attacks. Defensively he was practically a cmf, absurd defensive competence.
I think without him in the team there would not be so much variation for the rest of the team. He is one of my favorite players and I am convinced of the set I am going to suggest, despite having a few changes with this current one.
Response is complex but ll discuss it if there is doubt.

Added Sao Paulo set, based on Konami set, they made a great job in there. I've always liked this guy and just like toaad said, "I have rarely seen a player who knew how to use his attributes as well as individually as Danilo showed"...that was Danilo.

He grew up a lot in his last spell in Corinthians, but in that Sao Paulo he was quite great but not so key in the team as he was in 2012 in Corinthians. Still he had some great moments in there. Probably second set has some so much high numbers, like attack and make both set quite unbalanced.
