Back then, he was wasn't the clinical finsher he is now and he wasn't as good positioning himself either. he was only just developing in his role as a trequartista and his skills from dead pieces weren't as good as they are now. however, he was slightly quicker, a better dribbler, better shielder and controller of the ball and a harder worker .

Francesco Totti is greatest footballer in history of AS Roma football club and one of the most talented footballers of his generation . He can play as attacking midfielder or second striker combing great goal-scoring ability with his impressively creativity and superb technique. Totti was an outstanding of AS Roma since he was in a youth team and gradually developed until being the indispensably iconic player for more than a half and a decade. His best year was arguably in 2001 helping Roma win the Scudetto under Fabio Capello and coming fifth place European Footballer of The Year. Totti was rumored several times linking with Real Madrid where is the only club he interested to join with them. However, He loved his club enough to stay with them until his retirement. Even Massimo Moratti ever said that he didn’t want to buy him in spite of his impressive ability because Totti is everything of AS Roma.

These stats are for Totti in his best scoring season ('06-'07) when he became a killer striker and won the "Golden boot" with 26 goals in Serie A.
They complete the stats that we already have from 2000-2001 which for me can reflect his period from 2000 to 2005 and the current stats.

I have a question, was Totti ever a 96 SPA? I always felt his LPA > SPA personally. Not sure he is worthy of a red value in SPA at any time in his career.

We could simply exchange the values, SPA for LPA as well. But i believe we are still being conservative about his lofted balls, even at a 96 number. I don't know if this video has already been linked, but maybe it helps to refresh the memory:

Seriously, watch this game. Absolutely amazing, his long passing, ball retention and vision. Oh, and that awesome goal was just crazy. How good he could be?

I would probably say that a maximum of 95 in LPA is lower than he can actually get, and there are a busload of exemples in the 25 years of Totti. I believe he can get to a full 97, for sure. And his SPA, even if doesn't reach the jawdroping displays of it's counterpart isn't that far from it.

In regards to this, I don't remember fully but I believe that Totti was given that 96 SPA value to separate him and make him unique in game so he felt very individual. I just personally can't remember the exact reasoning behind it and I'm not sure I consider him a red SPA guy. His LPA is clearly red and he is fully deserving of it. Was SPA in god region to do with replicating his over the shoulder blind pass? We were experimenting with that and teamwork too at some stage years back now. Regardless, I think his SPA should sit in orange region unless, can anyone remind me exactly why we assigned 96 SPA?

2 reasons. Firstly, I think totti is a LPA>SPA guy and that should be replicated in the set.

Second, looking at the players who sit on 95 SPA, I think he lacks either the pure accuracy of some these guys or the incisiveness. When we look at someone like Cassano for example, I think the pure danger he creates from his SPA is greater than totti, and totti sits 1 point higher. Now I'm not suggesting a massive downgrade, I was merely trying to remember why exactly we had him at 96. I myself would have him just below god region in his prime.

Konami rated prime Totti something like SPS 96 LPS 92. I like it and have him at SPS and LPS 96 in my game. It play quite nice ingame
Also green Ment for 00-04 Totti like Konami seems better? He only need high Ment for later stage maybe?
