"Technique is not being able to juggle a ball 1000 times. Anyone can do that by practicing. Then you can work in the circus. Technique is passing the ball with one touch, with the right speed, at the right foot of your team mate."

Now that we are in quarantine, I started to watch videos of foreign players who spent their time in Chilean soccer in the 1990s, what an incredible time.

Gorosito must be the closest thing to Valderrama I have ever seen, an impressive technique and elegance, which I think the Argentine team wasted, yes, it does not mean that they had many monsters at that time, it was impressive. I loved his way of playing, so calm and serene, and also an incredible punch. Católica had Gorosito and Acosta, la U had Leo Rodríguez and Colo Colo had Marcelo Espina

Going back to the set, the set is a bit old, nor would Gorosito have 80 of DS hahaha, I think that mainly the speeds should drop, the resistance also, that is, he ran when necessary, he was one of those footballers who play a lot with his head. I also think that his attack was much better than 76. And in the technical aspect, his technique was incredible, I don't know if he reaches the 90's, but he did touch.

Indeed, i watched some of him sometime ago and i was impressed about how smart and the way he naturally used his long passing all the time to assist and give football. He was such a great ball-protector, but he wasn't strong and he was really slow (at least in San Lorenzo and in U. Catolica just like you said).

I should re-watch him, but i remember being much more impressed about his lpa than his spa (which was increible as well). Should have higher att and much lower all speed and stamina.

Btw era is too long. He should have at least 2:
1986-1990 (River & Tirol) - won it all
1993-1995 (San Lorenzo & U Catolica) - Won Copa America 1993

And probably one for his later years:
1996-1999 (Yokohama Marinos & back to SL) but it's not that necessary

In fact, as you said, he occupied the LPA much more than the SPA. As I told you, it was a style similar to Valderrama, especially in its football peak.

If I also think that its stages are very long.
