Domarski was the optimal replacement at the centre forward position in the transition period for Poland after the injury to Lubanski and before the rise of Szarmach, largely due to Lato and Kasperczak cementing first team status at this time - all three being from the same club afforded Gorski the luxury of personnel changes and some measure of maintaining cohesion in the first team. Domarski would gain 17 caps for Poland, and only 2 goals - but both goals came in qualifying matches for the 74 WC - the second being perhaps his most noteworthy, against England at Wembley.

Played out the majority of his career with hometown club Stal Rzeszów during the 1960's, but it was in the mid 70's with Stal Mielec that he would claim two suprising domestic titles with the relatively obscure club, appearing 104 times and scoring 36 goals in the process. Moved to French club Nîmes Olympique in 1976 for a two year stint, he then returned back to Poland and his hometown club, afterwards also played for Resovia Rzeszów another local club before retiring.
