This guy is tiny. I'm sure no matter how high his Balance is in the game he will lose out on most challenges. He isn't necessarily strong on the ball, but he isn't THAT weak. I would put his BAl on par with Foggia(70). Maybe Foggia needs to be knocked down a couple. He is the lowest in the Serie A deservingly, and despite the small stature of Valbuena I would put them on the same value fore Bal.

How can we tell who is more agile him or Kone. I know that the highest agility value in the Serie A currently is 91(Alexis Sanchez). I personally would likely put Kone around a 93 and Valbuena around the same value as Giovinco(89). At times he looks more Agile than Kone, but Kone has a fluid movement thing going on very similar to Alexis Sanchez.

He has a solid Jump. I don't think his TS is that fast...maybe 83/84?

My Suggestion Summay:
Balance: 72/73
Top Speed: 83/84
Agility: 89
Jump: 72/73

84 Is enough!
Agility: 89 is quite good too!

With 73 in body balance valbuena would be as strong as kone, wich would be wrong.
Also don't you think that http://www.dailymotion.com/search/valbuena/video/x86ld5_un-valbuena-qui-rebondit_sport deserves a high agility

89 is VERY HIGH!! Same as Giovinco...who is likely a bit more agile. I really think he has better bal than Foggia...who currently sits at 70 & is bigger. What do you suggest to bridge this gap. Surely 66 is too harsh. :o

giovincos balance is at 75 now, and i think this guy deserves to be at least at 73, just take into account that the height and weight of these players will make them even weaker in the game, thats why i propose higher values for all short players in the database...

I think he's a wee bid better in dribbling and technique from that friendly against Dinamo... flawless 1st touch and fluent dribbles... I'd suggest 86 for both from what I could see

86 for both seems a bit high, seeing the ladders i'd put him at both 85.

flawless 1st touch and fluent dribbles

I don't think so, his 1 st touch can be poor at times.

His fantastic agility makes him looking much better than he really is in those areas.

Here what I propose :

Agility : 91 +1
DA : 85 +1

He isn't as good as Ziani currently sitting at 85 nor so close to Benarfa rated at 86.

86 : Ben Arfa
85 : Ziani
84 : Valbuena.

The former small ladder was fair and I see no reasons of altering it. ;)

I'm a bit surprised to see his LPS higher than his LPA. I thought his crosses often lacked the power to get to the target :?

With Marseille and NT, he plays currently at winger. We could add this position.

A boost in Defence (48-50) : on the wing, he runs and made some tackles, he help the defence on set-pieces.
Body Balance to 73 : yes, he is a diving machine but with his height, weight and jump, it's impossible to him to win some body challenges. I think he could also have a raise on header (65-67) and jump (75).
We could switch LPA and LPS : his crossing are really accurate but they lack on power.
I think his technique could be on 85 : with his tiny body, he is capable to control some hard balls. Also there is such a gap between Gourcuff and the others : I see a major boost on technique (Hazard, Néné and Delgado on 87 is possible).

Update.
PS: There is a gap between Gourcuff and the others players in ligue 1 because ligue 1 lost some of its most technical players (like Benzema,Ben Arfa,Juninho,Ziani, etc who weren't replaced), Nene has a wonderful close control but his first touch is more inconsistent, Delgado doesn't play enough to show his true quality, Hazard may be too young, etc)
